I saw earlier today that he said this had been bothering him for a while.

I don't see the problem in terms of it causing an issue for the team. He said that he had been hiding it for a couple weeks or something like that. Team can't be penalized for that.

If they didn't have him on the injury report and he didn't practice fully they can (If they knew about it) tough to prove though.

    Just don't say anything!

This is on Tomlin as well. These last few days have been nothing short of an absolute disaster for this team. It's like this team fell asleep at the wheel the last day or so.

So if they were asleep then wouldn't that mean pulling the fire alarm was actually a favor?

Would that be in effect this season or next if proven?

He gaine 170 yards WITH a groin injury? Imagine........ if the team didn't know about it, I don't think they can be held responsible and "Carrollized"

what is the big deal? I don't see the problem. if he was hurt or not, is that a rule or something? I have heard of teams not releasing injury info

If team medical staff and trainers knew about the injury and did not report him injured on the injury report, Pittsburgh will be docked a draft pick for violation of NFL ruling.

So when exactly did he hurt himself if it was a previous condition?

Where is this supposed kid born this week?

We don't know, but it will be checked into.

He just said it's been bothering him for some time. If he hid it from the team then they're not responsible.

Still stupid as they ran his wheels off not knowing he was hiding a groin injury.

Either way you slice it, he's still dumb for mentioning it or not telling the team so they can game plan around keeping him healthy!

He's saving face for ****ting the bed. Always has to be an excuse... He should've been upfront, this team should spell him more etc... His wheels will in fact be ran off if they don't try to utilize the guys they dress behind him. I understand and even brought up an 80-20 load. A TRUE 80-20 load which he did not get this year. Don't matter if D will wasn't available, others were... They weren't used but were occupying a roster spot

I remember Chuck Noll getting a 2nd rd pick taken away back in the day. You gotta go by the rules.

Over reaction much? I thought the article was going to state the league is looking into docking them a pick.

    Nothing to see here.

    Not an overreaction.

They investigate when guys talk like that to the media. They'll investigate it...

Same as the Seahawks...only became an issue when the coach said something about it....

Third tweet, "Just kinda keeping it to myself, not wanting to scare anyone".

Absolutely nothing will come of this.

Yeah, if he kept it to himself, then it's on him.

Problem is he needs to get that kind of stuff evaluated...when they're planning on running the whole offense around you, you might want to tell someone that your groin has been bothering you, just in case...

My friend is a pats fan and he told me today he wanted to send me a pic of Ladanian Tomlinson on the exercise bike but he didn't want to be mean lol.It was strange because I was thinking the same thing. It's very similar to the bad luck the Chargers had against them in the Marty ball days.

450+ yards in the previous 3 games, with a gimpy groin? I'm not buying it. He should have kept his mouth shut though.
This entire team needs to do like Marshawn Lynch did; media blackout unless mandated.

Tomlin said today that the team was aware that he had a groin issue going on but it wasn't something that kept him from practicing. Although the other day he didn't practice and it was listed as "Non Injury Related". I know people are gonna compare this to the Seahawks BUT they knew the MAJORITY OF THE SEASON about Sherman's MCL. I don't know exactly how long they've known about Bell. Although also I don't know that you have to know about it for some certain span of time before it becomes an issue. I'm assuming as soon as you find out about it you are supposed to report it.

If a player practices, the team isnt required to list it. The question was asked in Eds chat today.

Yes. Seahawks were hiding Richard Sherman's MCL injury half the season. Lost a draft pick.

But there was one day where he didn't practice last week and I guess that's where people are thinking they might get hit for.
