Reports are it would take a 1st rd pick. To steep but a club like the Browns who have two first rd draft picks may be interested.

I liked him coming out of college and would love to get him here but not at that price. 2 games is way to small a sample size to be demanding a 1st rd pick.

They got a 2nd rd pick for Castle (if you can believe that) so it will cost at least that much. Someone will anti that up.

I'd give up a 3rd to get him here.

The Browns are stupid enough to trade 2 first round picks for him...

I wouldn't put it past them if they learned he plans on retiring in a year or has some crazy illness. I'm joking of course, but that was my first thought with those conniving weasels. :lolol:

I'd give up Landry Jones for him.

Trade AB straight up. Although I imagine with AB on the Pats they'd be even more unstoppable.

Billy trades off his backup QBs and they prove they wasnt worth a sh** to begin with, IE Cassel and Mallet, Garoppolo wont be any different, he has two career starts and some of you have him an all pro already....

i guess you would have to look at it as, is he better than what is in this draft? if ben hangs it up and we can offer the 30th pick in the draft for him, thats not a bad deal. we could still draft a later round guy too. ben is holding us hostage in a way. his money doesn't go away either.

They probably will anyway. I don't see this team stopping the Pats anytime soon. And who else in the AFC is honestly a threat? Maybe the Raiders, but they don't really have a great defense either.

Ben ain't hanging it up. He would have to pay the Steelers $18 million. Plus the rest of his contract he'd walk away from. I don't care how much money you have made $18 million is a lot to write a check for. Ben's a diva to and now he's got all the attention on him. Also he's been calling out a lot of the young guys for the AFC Championship game being to big for them. He needs to look in the mirror cause he didn't exactly light it up either.

He threw for over 300 yards, he didn't exactly stink either.

Anyway, getting Jimmy G or drafting a QB doesn't mean Ben isnt coming back, its preparing for the inevitable.

Remember a couple years ago against Indy and Balt. when Ben threw for over 500 yards and 6 TD's in back to back games? I was thrilled to death. Finally Ben is showing everyone and performing like a true elite QB! He is finally going to win a MVP and get the recognition he deserves. The sky is the limit. We will be unstoppable. Then what happened? We went on the road to play a mediocre Jets team and Ben puts up six points (i think that is all we scored). I was like WTF! Up and down. Nothing changes.

I never said don't draft a QB. I've posted many times awhile ago about drafting Ben's replacement. I figured Ben would hang it up in 2-3 years. Also he might of threw for 300+ but a lot came when we were completely out of it. I didn't say he stunk the joint up. I'm just saying he's saying a lot about others when he didn't play that great himself.

I disagree, he did play good, several dropped passes plus two dropped TDs and bad play calling in the redzone.

    AJ McCarron > Jimmy Garoppolo

McCarron did not to lose the wild card game last year. He actually had a decent game. Plus the Bengals are in love with Big Red Dalton. It would be nice to get McCarron and have him beat the Bengals for 12 more years.
