After rewatching the game, and many of his throws, he looks like he has a right shoulder impingement. He isn't getting his arm up and over. Therefore, high throws, batted passes and poor follow through.

PWP says his knee is causing the high throws?
Looks like we have a debate.

I've had an impingement in my shoulder and I can tell you that it is super lame. I had to do like 3 months of physical therapy. I also had tendinitis in there.

Something is definitely off. He missed on a lot of throws Sunday. Of course, it was the shoulder he came up flexing after being hit by Wake late in the victory over the Dolphins. The very avoidable hit if Mike Tomlin had remembered that he has an injury-prone quarterback to protect.

Didn't Ben actually think earlier in the week that he actually did have a hurt shoulder?

They just put me out of work for 3 months and done a ton of physical therapy and I had to start sleeping on it different. It still will bother me if I over extend my shoulder though and the thing that really can cause it is really repetitive motion and especially in like a swimming motion. That's what I was doing at work at the time and that's really what caused it. I just had to stop doing that specific job. You just have to figure out what triggers it and stay away from that activity.

No problem. I definitely hope that helps. I know how lame it is when it really starts flaring up.

I think he needs to review his passing fundamentals and footwork.

Note when your body starts breaking down, will over compensate in another area. It's a long

season everybody is knicked up. Ben needs to go back to fundamentals.

I actually wondered if Ben's wearing of the boot was to hide the fact that his shoulder was hurting. It would allow him to be on the injury report, but maybe not for the injury he really has and yet it is still plausible. It left us without letting KC know that his arm was underpowered at the moment.

He's dinged up, he really hasn't played at the level before his knee injury. But, he's still good enough to last us two more games!

Shoulder is probably hurting, he has been throwing a lot with his arm he doesn't step into his throws and his balls don't have the zip or accuracy they used to...He threw high at the GL to Eli....He threw short to JJ at least twice ..His worse throw was the deep ball to AB..AB had a LB on him and had him beat by 5 yards and no safety help..AB had to slow up and wait it was a terrible ball....

After watching the replay, I'm convinced that his shoulder is bothering him too. Just give him a cortisone shot and worry about it later.

Yep...Him not being able to use his lower body correctly has probably led to shoulder and arm problems....

I'm convinced that you are a medical expert in these types of matters. So, help a fella out - WTF is going on with me? If I pee during the middle of the night without turning on the lights, I often aim high and get a little bit into that no-mans land under the seat hinge. You got a diagnosis for that? Is it my knee? My ankle? I'm perplexed, and my wife is PISSED (excuse the pun).

Shhhh! I didn't ask you. Let the master provide his diagnosis without prompting. And by the way, given your name "snipit", I am NOT calling you for treatment if it is my weeny.
