OK, here we go again guys! My "Poll feature" game Ball post!

I'm going to guess it may come down to one of 2 guys.

After that unnecessarily close game, I think this team will be focused more than ever for next weeks Conference Championship game up in Foxborough!

Went with the Boz for scoring all of our points, but honorable mention to Super Harrison.

    Defense.

They finally had that "Signature Moment" in my opinion. This win will help them greatly.

Voted Boz, but kindly disagree with the options.

The Game Ball escence is to distinguish the most important person in order to get the W.
No "Whole D, Whole O, OL, WR crops, Hands Team, skill position players, etc". That system substracts votes which would be given to single performers. Yes, units performance usually make a difference, but that's what grading is for, not gameballs.

That, said, great team win tonight!

Meh I can't put the whole roster out there. I picked a few players with game changing plays that performed extremely well.

They've given MVP on monday night to units before so I don't see a problem with it. I've seen them give it to O-lines and Dlines before.

James. But I do want to give a shoutout to VWill and JJ for their KO coverage. I've been hard on JJ through the years, but he came up big on special teams. The way the game unfolded, one return could have swung the game the other way.

I don't know how you don't give it to Le'Veon Bell. Sure Boz made the kicks, but who consistently put him in that position?

Yeah, that was my thought on the ST coverage unit.

With the one exception being the squib kick which basically gave them their first TD by not imposing any field position restrictions on play calling.

Once they started giving them the time to get down on coverage they were smacking the crap out of him!

Split it three ways between Suisham, Scobee, and Hartley for getting injured so Boz could be on the field. Seriously, a few others really shined last night, but Boz deserves the game ball for scoring all our points and being clutch by not missing. One miss and we maybe lose.

I had a coach that used to say:
The best games are the ones in which no one agrees on game-ball, because that usually means we had a great team effort, with several outstanding individualities.

So true. here you have the O-line dominating early and allowing Bell to rack up record yards again. The Defense coming through in key situations with Harrison recording 3 tackles for loss and a sack with a crucial holding penalty. Top that with the coverage teams doing an outstanding job of getting a superstar returner down on the ground. With a kicker that was clutch for 6 FG's!

You can say all phases had their burps, but they all performed pretty good to pull this one out when the Offense faltered ion the redzone!

I guess that's why football is a team sport. Without the o-line doing its thing, Bell would be dancing to few yards.

Since it was a team win and the offense barely did enough scoring points, I voted Defense as a whole.

I kind of wanted to say JH or Bell. First instinct was to say Boz, but reasoned he just did his job.

Boz because he was clutch AND kickers are football players Too!!

Honorable mention goes to the OL in a close 2nd!!! They are the key to Bells success and kept Ben upright and comfortable against Ford & Houston and Poe&Co!!!

JH is soooo intimidating, he should get the game ball even if he doesn't play!;)

I mean it's not like it's a participation trophy or something!

I voted Boz but really there is no wrong answer. I will say this let's remember how hard it is to have a good kicker.......Josh Scobee! I take nothing away from anyone else on this list or on the team but to have a kicker we can count on is incredible. jmo

Scobee cost us the game vs the Ravens and maybe the 1st game vs the Cheat last year. Leading to him getting cut and us getting our 4th kicker DA BOZ. That was where I was going with that if I am remembering right.......
