This does suck, we really need him healthy. This is really turning out to be the year of the injury. What is Worilds' status?

Oh crapola!!! This hurts big time. Hope we can get him back down the stretch. Time for Carter to sit at the grown ups table.

This team has been so resilient. Too many injuries to list. We require pressure on the qb this week, and for that matter, every week.

Time to step up and see what the young lb'ers have. The qb pressure certainly dropped off, when Woodley went out of the game.

    Steelers Depot reporting :
We will know the status of Worilds in about 2 hours.

I'm assuming that's when Tomlin does his weekly presser.

Our chances were greater vs the ratbirds having a healthy team, particularlly Woodley & Harrison. Just probably it's not worth to rush them in right now. There's still half a season ahead & probably january games.

Trying to see the half-filled glass, this is the opportunity for Worilds / Carter / Sylvester to show if they can carry the load and show our D staff if they do need to take care of this issues in the draft.
So far, McLendon, Hood, Cameron, Sylvester & Carter have seen some playing time. Also, not sure if I saw Cortez Allen playing against the Pats.
On offense, it's been the same issue with our oline, Ward & Mendy. Their backups have had their chance we all asked for (Dwyer, Brown & Sanders, Scott & Gilbert).
Not everyone will take advantage of the opportunity, but at least we'll know where do we stand on depth issues and rejuvenating the team on years to come.

The way the season is unfolding, better not rush the injured ones in too early. We'll probably need them coming january.

Not having all our LBs healthy during the Pats game was something we could overcome because it made us put more DBs on the field, which I think we wanted to see against the Pats. It definitely helped that #56 was being a beast rushing the passer, but even when he went out, our coverage-first Defense still managed to shut down NE.
Against the Ratbirds, it is a different story I feel like. They aren't going to spread us out and force us to play the pass the majority of the game. They'll line up in tight formations and try to be physical. This is a game where we need our LBs...even the aging Farrior. The thought of having 3 of the starting 4 out, with the one healthy one playing out of position, worries me a great deal. Hopefully the young guys step up, but no Farrior, no Woodley and no Harrison has me worried...

Thanks, I hope he's good to go. I see Sanders has a knee injury that happened in the first half, which needs evaluation.

I'm not injured, having nothing to do on Sunday but watch the game and can still fit into pads...not my old high school pads but pads that fit someone bigger, much bigger. Anyhow, I'm available if needed...Tomlin reach out and I will answer the call. I figure I'm good for atleast two hits, not on me, but two good hits until I get squimish and have to go puke or something.

I wonder if it works for us letting the opponent know who to prepare for. Now they may develop a game plan against our known talent. The only thing we can benefit from with this is if in fact ALL the subs play up to "the standard". Then it will screw up a ravens altered plan if they think they can attack lesser and inexperienced players.

When you plug in one or two guys into a group or system and they live up to the standard that's very possible and amazing. But since the beginning of the season we will have 4-5 of our front 7 (is Hampton 100% back?). All probowlers, captains and team leaders. Tough to overcome and I hope they can. You can't even really compare it to our offensive line because there was never really a solid group there playing as a unit.

If we can overcome this and be successful against ravens and the surging bengals who are playing well, then this squad is very special. We will have real depth with tested experience and feeling like winners. Coach em up Tomlin!!!

Yeah, the facebook video is the same from Cajun's post up above. Said trainers were working on him and not to count him out. We'll see I guess.

Hoke, Hampton, Hood and Keisel on the field at the same time. Run a modified 4-3.
