price went up 2 dollars a ticket. So for the season it now costs me $700.00 for 10 games. (I have 4 tickets) Not excessive, but a hike nonetheless. :yeehaw:

At $70 a ticket in this economy is a bargain for the Steelers home games.

The Bungles lowered their season tickets this season. You can get those if you want and trade me the Steelers tickets.

    "i'm a season ticket holder!"

that's all you really needed to say. isn't that the message you were trying to convey?

I'll take the tickets if you can't afford the $2 increase.

yep. that's me. insecure. nice read, doc. ya nailed it.

i don't think anyone is empathetic to a $20 hike in the price of season tickets (for the entire season) when so many have been sitting on a waiting list (that doesn't move) for two decades. even with four seats, that's $80 for the season. hell, i had a steak last night at el gaucho in portland, oregon that cost that much. PSL's are ebaying for $10k or more just for the right to buy the season tickets. scalping tickets outside heinz will run anyone two bills for any game.

i just can't rationalize anyone complaining about a two-dollar per game hike in their ticket.

you can get back to your poor evaluations now.

heath miller greatest tight end in nfl history, indeed.

"I have so much money that I can spend over $80 on a single meal!"

that's all you really needed to say. isn't that the message you were trying to convey?

Now... doesn't that make me sound like an insecure prick? I guess you're right, I don't have enough information on you to call you insecure. "I'm a douche" would have been so much more accurate.

I didn't read his post as much of a complaint. More like information, which is way more than is offered in most threads around here. He even said it was not excessive and gave one of these :yeehaw: , so I thought it was kind of a "no big deal but FYI" kind of thing. And for some people, $80 is a lot. Even (especially Steeler) season ticket holders, many of whom spend money on that instead of other things they could really use, because it's such a big deal. I'd say that's post-worthy. You can disagree. But you'll understand why I think you're a less than decent for your depressing response.

You can stop misquoting me anytime, by the way. You did it in the other thread for damn near everything, and now here. The things I said were pretty clear, and I was sure to make them that way. And yet you still come away telling me I said things I never said. Misread all you want if that's what you like to do, but please stop misquoting.

Three tickets in the nosebleed section....$350.00.

Three hours in Heinz Field with your daughters.....priceless.

I remember when I went to Heinz. It was the SB rematch between the Steelers and Seahawks (I believe we won 21-0). I got my tickets on Stubhub where I found them at a decent price compared to everywhere else I looked. I paid $220 per ticket (4 tickets) and sat in the highest row possible in the end zone. Literally the worst seats possible and it cost me $220 per ticket.

I drank far too much the night before at one of the bars in Pittsburgh to be standing for more than about 15 minutes.
