To think they got their footing and shut down Emmitt, but the turnovers just derailed another super bowl title... ugh!

 

I was at ESPN's Disney studios about 13 years ago, and got to see Brentson Buckner interviewed. At the time, I think he was still playing for the Panthers.

I asked him about differences between coaches, and he told me that Cowher's problem was that he got too excited.

 

Interesting! Steelers shut down emmitt smith and figured out the cowboys offense as much as you can, but Neil O'Donnell and the turnovers ... just couldn't have those.

 

Neil O'Donnell didn't catch the plane back with team. Signed with Jets after that horrible performance. A little bit of info from that Superbowl... All of our wr's got hurt...thigpen,mills,and Johnson. O'Donnell also took a 7 step drop from the 3 yard line to pass the ball to foster and gave the defender a chance to knock the ball away...and lose the afccg on our home field to the San Diego chargers the previous year

 

Neil O Donnell is a bum. Not only does he cost us a SB, he also signs with the Jets. At leasthe we won a SB ten years later. Sure would've been nice to be going for 8 this year though.
