So both Steelers games would be on Sunday if they advance ? Damn, would have rathered a Saturday game at least once

 

Damn, totally got screwed. Hate those early times.

 

Working, it's the only time slot I can't watch live

 

Wanted it to be Saturday. I was toying with the idea of using Sky miles, points etc and splurge for one more game.

 

I thought I had read somewhere that they had done away with sky miles. We fly quite a bit but we don't use Delta anymore. Are they still doing that? We started having to use Allegiant pretty much exclusively and they are actually really terrible but you get what you pay for.

 

Living in Atl,their headquarters, I only fly Delta,but yes they still have them.They just changed how you get them now ( Which I hate) Before you got a mile for every mile flown. Now you only get a mile for every dollar spent so it caters for to business travel I've used and racked up miles getting good rates on long routes. I probably have 1 or 2 flights depending on where so I've been saving them . Lol!

 

We live in Knoxville and go to Disneyworld a few times a year and man Delta is inSANEly expensive to use from here now. Every time we fly them though we have to always stop in Atlanta and at least with Allegiant it's always direct flights. I'll tell you something funny I did to Delta once though. My stepmom was going to DC on business and I'm a really big history buff and political junkie and so I love the city of DC. So she told me if I bought my flight I could come and stay in her room all week for free and just hang out in the city all day while she lobbied. So I got to looking at how much the flights were and they were pretty outrageous but then I found an Orlando flight that was super cheap that went from Knoxville to a layover and then on to Orlando. So I just bought that one and took a carry on... You see where I'm going with this???

 

Yes...it's definitly a benefit 99% i can fly non stop anywhere. Worked out great for you though that time!

I'm going to check later on how many miles I need. Considering how long and the big trips it took me to get the miles I have now...it's usually cheaper to spend the $200 .

You gotta go Girl! I passed up chance to see Steelers vs Rams SB right in my backyard in 1980 cause tickets were $85 ....EACH!!!!!! That wouldn't buy these days. Figured I would get a chance later when I got a raise since Steelers were appearing virtually every year in the SB in those days. Did see them several years later in a playoff game vs Raiders when tickets were being given away below face value at the ginourmous LA Coliseum before they closed off 30,000 seats.

If I was in Pittsburgh and not 10 hrs away I'd definitely go.

 

Yeah I know....lol! Considine I'm still paying off miami steelers trip and ravens Xmas trip....what's one more trip! Lmao!

Of course I'd have to go by myself and not bring the boys this time...def can't afford that!

Maybe I'll playing power ball tues....
