No sacks on Ben against the ravens? When was the last time that happened? There was a few plays they got close but Ben worked his magic. The o-line is really playing at a high level.

I think the line was upset with the last Ravens game and came out with a chip on their shoulder. I also heard a stat that in the last 6 games Ben has only been knocked down 3 times.

Nice job by Foster on the Bell TD. He pretty much pushed Bell into the EZ.

The "Munch Bunch" had to. In order to win the game. Win the North. Punch their ticket. Whatever form of statement one believes in, domination in the trenches was vital...

.... and I am glad I witnessed it. Truly one of the most dominant all around performances I have seen by any team this year... period.

They were awesome, Bell ran for over 100 yds and Ben wasn't sacked. I can't remember the last time something like that happened for the Steelers vs the Ravens.

Oline looked good and Ben wasn't bothered by the pressure. He slid around nicely and moved up when the rush got behind him. It was night and day compared to the Bengals game where the pass rush wasn't getting close to Ben but he was getting happy feet.

    Wholeheartedly agree.

At the same time, Baltimore's d-line ain't not non what it used to be n' at.

I agree they aren't what they used to be but at the same time that was one of the top rush defenses in the NFL that held bell to 60 rushing yds the first matchup.

True. However, much like the seasons, teams change; positive or negative. The "Munch Bunch" held up well and proved to be the key point.

I really think this is the best Steelers line I have seen in my lifetime.

    I'm 31 by the way.

Agreed. Im 26 and the steeler lines I have seen have had a stud blocker or 2 but this whole line is pretty nice.

Let's rank the line from best to worst. Pass blocking/run blocking this year.

    I'll go

    Foster
    Gilbert
    Pouncey
    Decastro
    AV

AV has only played that position for two years and his learning curve has been amazing, I wonder if they will ever play him as a tackle eligible after all he caught 34 balls for 522 yards and averaged 15 plus yards for reception and had 5 TDs, in his senior year at Army, his only full season, so he has the hands and I would love to see him charging down the field albeit probably a little slow and catch a TD....
