Granted, I know we are not well liked by the media. I do not know why I punish myself watching the regular shows knowing that we will not be respected. I guess I was hoping that SOMEONE would say that maybe Marcia is not so wonderful and the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I cannot tell you how many times on ESPN and the NFL Network discussed first about Bellicheat not challenging the play at the goal line instead of the talk being how well our defense (especially DBS and Woodley) and offense played in that game? I also noticed that our game was often not discussed until late shows when our game was the featured one shown on TV. Once again, it was it was about the "challenge" that should have been and what would have happened if the Pansies had scored with four minutes to go. I thought that was ridiculous seeing how our offense could not be stopped all day, up to the last series. I think that just does not give justice to how well we played and how well prepared we were for this game.

Great job coaching and playing! I guess I will continue to come here to hear US talk about how great we were prepared and played and I am okay with that!

The main problem I have with the coverage, if I have one, is that despite what actually happened on the field, we were treated like we won a shootout. Ben and the receivers won the game. And it's true the offense was incredible. But it was like Brady and the Pats couldn't put up points because they couldn't get on the field due to our long drives... Never mind the fact that we shut 'em down when they did get on the field. New England's offense was flat out beaten by our defense, and the media seems to be sidestepping that.

How many points did our defense really allow? They were handed 7 on the pick, and another 7 on penalties. They were legit penalties, but still. An offsides to give them a first, and then that defensive holding on 4th down that didn't affect the outcome of the play at all. That leaves 3. Three.

To be fair, if the roles were reversed and we didn't get the TD with 4 minutes left and we didn't challenge, there would be 100 posts on this site talking about what might have been if we had just challenged.

Some of you guys want too much from the media. Just enjoy the wins when they come, which seems to be often with the Steelers.

I'm cool with the Steelers being ignored. Then, teams never see them coming...

Yes. I pointed this out to my friends often, as we watched the game. Brady couldn't get them down the field... ALL. DAY. LONG.

I for one could care less about the media coverage. Our team is not the media darlings that the Packers and Pats are. We don't need media love, and I think this team is better off without it. Football is best played with a chip on your shoulder, and this is a chip they can use.

Couldn't agree more. I could care less what they say or don't say, especially when we're winning. That being said I watched Berman and Jackson review the game in one of their "Blitz" segments and I didn't see anything wrong with their coverage at all. Certainly nothing that would offend Steeler fans anyway.

I do agree with you all stated and you are right I should not care what the media says about us and I usually don't.... I just really wanted for once to hear our praises for once about how great our D and offense played. We really outcoached Bellicheat! That is what I wanted to be said. I should have known that would only come from being here and having our true fans say it. The game did not seem an 8 point game but as was pointed out, if was not that their offense was just running up and down the field on our D.

BTW, I felt we did get better coverage today. And, as you pointed out, we do play better under the radar then we are expected to win.
