This is the third week in a row they're on primetime, every sports show I turn on all they talk about is the Cowboys. If they make the Super Bowl the coverage will be insufferable.

America's Bandwagon Team would probably be a better term.

I can honestly say until Brady I never met a legit Pats fan. I do go to church with a guy from Boston though and he actually has always really liked them. Seattle is a definite bandwagon fanbase. Even in Seattle. One of my best buddies lives in WA and his brother is a season ticket holder for the Seattle and when they lost the Super Bowl a couple of years ago he put up a pic on his fb page of a tombstone that said "Seahawks Fanbase 2012-2014". LOL!

How can receivers not get offensive pass interference? Just hold the face mask so the defender can't get his head around. Works for Dez Bryant. Wouldn't work for AB though. :goodellsucks:

Yeah, before Brady, the only real Pats fan I ever ran into was while watching the Bears/Pats SB. Beginning of the game, she was trying to get bets and was willing to give 10 points. By halftime, we were offering 35 points and she wouldn't take it! She left at the start of the 4th!

Mmmmmmmkay, Dez gets away with a facemask in the first half but,the Lions get a PI for hand fighting? Nope, no bias there!

Sick of the cowgirls. Prescott and their running back whether it was elliot last year or the new guy this year aren't THAT good, they're playing behind the best oline in football.

It's impressive how biased the officiating is tonight, I'd be losing my **** if I was the lions.

I haven't seen Dez make a clean catch yet. Exactly what did AB get a flag for?

F*** the cowgirls. Skip Bayless has to be the worse.. He treats them and tom brady like they're his kids and it pisses me off (and probably everyone not a cowgirls fan).

I pound the same drum constantly when people try and tell me how great Dak and Zeke are. They may very well be legit but I'd like to see them in another situation to see for sure. My buddy is a huge cowgirls fan and was trying to get me to say that Emmitt was the best rb of the 90's and I was like "Well, when you played the cowboys you knew that they had a great TE, a great WR with a competent guy opposite him, a great fullback, a really accurate passer, and one of the best lines in history. So you had to plan for a lot of different elements and Smith benefited greatly from that. However when you played the Lions you had to plan for Barry Sanders and people STILL couldn't stop him. So no. I still don't think Emmitt was the best." He was like "Well...that's a pretty good point." LOL!

Sanders is the best RB of all time. No line no qb no WR and he still fought his way to hard yards.

Btw it's apparent Cowboys or pats will win the SB this year.

There was a stat somewhere that estimated how many yards he lost to what he gained was.

The fact that had he not walked away when he still had at least 3-4 good years left in him, he would hold the record over Smith still counts as greatest in my book.

I liken it to Michael Jordan. When he was playing you tuned in and I really don't like watching basketball that much. Just like the Lions. They were on TV if he was playing just so you could say I saw him when he did "X" against the ____!

When other Hall of Famers Say things like "You're just out there hoping you don't get embarrassed trying to tackle him"

I'm of the view that these teams like KC and Dallas that played their starters and broke out trick plays for more scores in blow-out games might have some serious flaws in their characters for playoff success.

The only reason people even call them America's Team is because Bob Ryan called them that while recording a highlight reel for NFL Films. He noticed people wearing Cowboys jerseys at a number of away games in the footage, and then the Cowboys announcers ran with it. The same could have been said for any number of teams who's fans travel well, including the Steelers, it just so happened that it worked out that way for Dallas.

Not only that but he also couldn't call them the "Team of the 70's" because we owned them so badly. The fact that they are called that is basically like a participation ribbon from the golden age of football. I always tell their fans how that's not necessarily a moniker to be proud of. Jack Lambert said once about the Steelers "We don't want to be America's Team. We want to be Pittsburgh's Team."
