You could argue that if Mitchell tackled and time ran off the clock that we were likely to get scored on anyways and not have enough time to score a TD the other way. 1:26 with two timeouts was a lot of time. I liked our chances of winning that game before OT

Bell for me. 120 yards rushing is a rare thing for us against the Ravens.

He screwed the play up and because he messed up he was able to get the edge. Looked like everyone knew that play was going right and he went left. Ben did an awesome job getting that ball to him. Ayers made the best block a WR could make to seal the CB outside.

Bell didn't screw anything up on his touchdown run. The Ravens had the inside run defended and Bell made a great cut to bounce it back to the left and score.

Another reason why I'm loving the way Ayers played today. Put a uniform on somebody, call them a Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, and they do something good. Write that down.

I voted for AB because of The Catch That Saved Christmas.

I agree that the OL was great, too. Ben had a lot of time and it was nice to see.

AB was like Dalton on that play. If you only knew of that play by hearing about it and then you first laid eyes on AB you'd say "I thought you'd be bigger..."

Ben had 2 careless picks & our worthless non-tackling defense choked, they should not be on the list...

    The immaculate extension.
    The catch that saved Christmas.
    The stretch.

I give the gameball to these.

We put a lot of pressure on our defense in that game.
They don't deserve any consideration for a game ball, but they don't deserve that type of criticism either.

He made the move before Ben had gotten the ball to him. Ben was holding it out the wrong way and made a great move to get it to him the way he was running. Great recognition by him to see it,but the other guys had to adjust on the fly!

Ayers did phenomenal recognizing it was coming his way and sealing that CB outside!

Mine goes to AB that was the single greatest effort I think I've ever seen, game on the line, do or die, three guys all over him, and he punched it in. One of the top 10 plays in heinz history for sure.

Man so many choices here but I voted AB. Bell played lights out, he is truly a special player. The oline played in my opinion their best game of the year. Ben had so much time especially late in the game during crunch time.....oh and Foster "helping" on that td was big time. The Defense, this unit keeps losing player after player on the dline and we look like we keep getting better. Matthews and Gravedigger have been super and Walton has stepped in nicely. Since the Cryboy game this D has been our turning point, imo.

At one point in the game the announcers said "where is Brown,he has only touched the ball once?" That was when we were down 20-10, then all of a sudden Ben found AB and the rest is history. I voted AB cause the quick strikes to him and what he did with it after the catch and also giving Ben his confidence/rhythm back.

The good Ben is going to have to show up for an entire game instead of a quarter or two if we are going to go any were in the play off's!

I agree with RPO's statement as well.

On that note, I thought Harbaugh owned Tomlin?.....

... So where are the excuses now for the "Anti-Tomlin" faction? :lolol:

    Runner up is Artie Burns.

Continues to shut down tier one threats. Steve Smith's touchdown was from the inside and not near Artie's vicinity.

Bell. Period. Without Bell... Steelers don't get the yards to set up AB for the win.

Honorable mention Mike Mitchell for missing that tackle on the Ravens FB, that left the Steelers enough time to score the game winning TD :dancing:

The irony, is that if AB had been stopped short and time expired, all the blame would've gone to Tomlin. but since we scored, the players get all the credit. That pretty much sums up how the fan base generally treats the franchise (coaches/players).

Tomlin will always be under fire... just like Cowher, until he wins a Super Bowl... and all will be right again... until he has to UNLEASH HELL! LOL
