No, they created and took advantage of a high probability TD scenario. It's how you win football games. Only tools question every time it doesn't work.

Sure there are plenty of potential plays to continue moving the chains. And maybe you don't get another look like that and settle for a FG anyways, maybe you do get the TD 5 plays later.

The point remains, you create your opportunities. Every time some fool complains about a missed deep pass on 3rd and short, it's a clear indicator they don't get this game beyond cheerleading

 

On a 3rd and 2? With Bell? No way. You get the two yards.

Oh I know I just couldn't help but point out the hypocrisy of the league when it comes to "player safety". Maybe they should call it "certain player safety".

 

On the 3rd and 2, I like going to AB whenever he's singled, but I thought the refs missed ANOTHER DPI on the play. It's become a trend the last few weeks (and the Denver playoff game last year).

 

I was yelling "Nooooooo not the middle," but with the entire team right there, and 9 seconds I'd say we would've got a spike at 1 sec. Regardless it worked, business is def booming

 

I guess ifs and buts must be candy and nuts because I sure did have a Merry Christmas!

 

I admit, that I am a total homer, but these refs are horrendous. Baseball, used to have the worse refs but the NFL has caught up and surpass them by a long shot

 

Baseball is somewhat easier to understand since the plays are incredibly bang bang but when a dude gets his facemask OBVIOUSLY grabbed AND turned when it's right in front of you that's pretty terrible. The call on Shazier for "helmet to helmet" was also pretty bad too. Tomlin was livid on that one.

This is called discussion, I wasn't complaining about a failed pass, my original statement was I'd have been more upset about the 3 and 2 shot that killed a drive then the game winning pass that had the potential of being a game ending mistake had the results been different.
