It would be nice to get off to an early lead. Raisins aren't playing well lately, and making them come from behind with our crowd fully into the game would make it all the tougher for them to get out of their funk.

I had a bad feeling about that game as soon as they released that SB shuffle video. They were totally looking past the Chargers.

It would've been nice if the Eagles had beat the Ravens with that 2pt conversion.

That game still bothers me. Foster was open in the end zone but #14 took too long to throw it.

We will have to want it more than the Ravens. These are two evenly matched teams.

Play solid fundamental football, cut down on penalties, no turnovers. Our special teams

need to be better than they have. Play 60 minutes and hope #7 plays well.

We played with an under performing defense in the last game, I think the defense will show up in this game, brady torched the rats secondary for 406 yards and 3 TDs, they also ran the ball for 95 yards, I see no reason why ben cant score some TDs in this game and bell getting over a 100 yards rushing and 75 yards receiving....

Don't feel too bad the 49ers would have crushed us, just like they did the Chargers in that Super Bowl. It wasn't pretty.

For me, whoever wins the turnover battle will win this one. If we don't turn it over I think we'll win with some breathing room. Our defense is playing well enough that the offense doesn't need to put up 30 (though I wish they'd put up 50). Keep it simple. If Ben starts forcing it into windows the size of the mole on his face, it'll be much, much closer...

Live and die by #7. :towel:

Also, for the love of god, PLEASE don't throw the bomb on 3rd and 1?

to be honest if our team put up 50 regularly I dont think our defense would do as good as I believe teams would take more chances instead of turtle. This goes for all teams though lol.

It would be awesome to have the falcons offense, and our defense could get picks and fumbles, while we aggressively scored 2 points and onside kicks lol. scores would be like 56-28, 45-30 etc

First of all, enough about the eagles and them going for the 2 pt conversion, their season is over and they had nothing to lose. As far as the Ravens game Christmas Day, it will be a low scoring, offensive struggle, and defensive fight for both teams. It will feel just like any other Steelers/ravens game that has been played the past 8-10 years and it will be fun, yet stressful to watch. In order for the Steelers to win I believe they must blitz flacco like hell and get him feeling uncomfortable. I believe our secondary has taken a few steps forward to the point where we can start blitzing more people more often, as we have been the past few weeks. Offensively, I think play action and short, quick passes early will be key to help set up the run game, taking a few shots deep later to Coates and Eli. I feel like AB will be covered most of the game so Coates, Eli, Cobi and Green (if healthy) have to step up. Special teams wise, the Boz needs to kick it into the endzone every kickoff because after last week, I'm not too confident in our kickoff team. Boz is on fire from a FG standpoint and his boot will be huge this week because it will be low scoring and every point will be huge.

My prediction is a 17-14 win for the Steelers, with a game winning kick from The Boz on the final drive.

Please don't ruin my Christmas, Steelers.

The 3rd and 1 bomb will give me a heart attack, surprised it hasn't yet. We have the best RB in the league and our line is having a great year, you're telling me we can't get one yard? Especially when you're throwing it to Coates, who has broken fingers and bones in his hands, and doesn't really fight for the ball. This goes for our 2 pt conversions also, RUN THE BALL WITH BELL.

I agree with just about all of that, but I still want to have Ben throw 6 touchdowns and beat those bastards by 40 points

Haha, believe me, that would be the best Christmas present ever. Nothing more I'd love to see than Terrell Suggs arrogant ass whine off the field. Speaking of Suggs, Vontaze Burfict is in the same boat as him in most hated players IMO, Burfict may of actually passed him after throwing down Big Ben Sunday. No spot in the NFL for guys like him, going around intentionally trying to hurt people.

honestly it all comes down to Ben. Ben is lights out at home, and he is healthy, with a dominant line and healthy Bell. 17 tds 3 picks, 119 rating at home. There is no excuse to lose this game if he is on key. We should know the first couple of drives

This will be the game to expect fake field goals, punts, extra points ect

Need to also watch out for surprise onside kicks and flea flickers... I just know the Rats are going to try anything clean or dirty to win this game

They don't need any more motivation for this game, it's an early playoff game between two teams that hate each other and have knocked each other out of the playoffs before, we have the advantage, so if we lose we can just blame our selves........
