This week they are announcing who made the Pro Bowl. I was curious as to what Steelers you guys think will make it. I say AB and Le'Veon are a lock. Ben should be going as well but missed time and a few bad road games might keep him out of it. I don't think anyone on defense will make the team. I'd say with Bell's stats we really should have a lineman going but we probably won't.

Cooper and Brady deserve the pro bowl more than Ben this year, so that leaves 1 spot. Does Ben get it over Luck, Mariota and Alex Smith? Probably, although I wouldn't say he definitely deserves it. He's really hurt us at times this year.

Bell and AB are a lock. Shazier won't get in, but he has all pro talent if he could just stay healthy. Timmons is solid, but not spectacular. Artie Burns is playing great lately but was too quiet early in the season.

Injuries have hurt the Dline. So I'll say Bell, Brown and most likely Ben.

I thought Alex Smith might be a good candidate for it myself. We know Brady will get in for sure. I say maybe Brady, Carr, and Smith.

Bell, Brown and Shazier should be.
    Ben, Decastro could.

Harrison will make a cameo <-- Keep this post.

My thought is that one of the linemen makes it too, and my guess is Pouncey.

I don't think any Steelers deserve the pro-bowl after the losses to the Eagles and Dolphins. Just my humble opinion.

None should go. Superbowl or bust. Don't want to see any meaningless major injury.

Tyler Eifert said he will never play in one again after it cost him most of this season. Hate to see that happen to Bell.

    You serious with that?

Chiefs got blown out by us but are 10-3.

We are a better team since then

I was listening to Pat Kirwan the othe day, and he said that the All Pro voting now requires O line voting to be position specific, so they will have an All Pro LT and All Pro RT (not just the 2 best LTs being voted as the All Pro tackles). Same with LG and RG. I don't know if the Pro Bowl is the same way. Gilbert could be that All Pro RT.

as others have said, brown and bell are locks..... i'm pretty sure pouncey, and marcus gilbert get in as well.. decastro probably gets in on reputation, even though he doesn't deserve it (in fact, foster deserves it more than dd this season)

on defense, the only one with a remote chance is timmons

might as well piss some off but I think Timmons is playing at a pro bowl level. especially the last few weeks. he wont get it but I still think he is a top inside backer.

I also think we have 3 on the oline who should be considered. pouncey, decastro, and I think Villanueva is playing at a high level but no way he makes it. I guess my bias is showing lol

Bell and AB are locks. Possibly Ben but after missing a game and having some rough road games his chances go down. Also doesn't help with Carr and Brady both playing out of their minds. Gilbert and Pouncey both have great chances. The only person on defense I see having a chance would be LT or maybe even Tuitt. Shazier has the potential to be an all pro, if he can just stay healthy.

I don't see Ben getting it. I understand that guys get in on name recognition, but he's been really bad at times this year and not as much really good as he has the past couple seasons. Bell and AB are locks. Pouncey will likely get in. He seems to deserve it.

3-4 DE'S have a tough time getting in. Tuitt has been really good the later half of the season, but his numbers aren't as good as Heywards last year and I don't remember if he got in or not... but I don't think he initially made the pro bowl squad. Tuitt probably won't make it Realistically Shazier should be an absolute lock injuries be damned. He's electric. Easily one of the top players at his position in the league. But it is always tough to crack the pro bowl for the first time. Timmons has no shot. He's had a good last 6-8 games, but he only made it once in his prime. He's not even the best ILB on our team.

About time for Gilbert. Thought he was going to be a First Team All Pro last year

Nice seeing Ben get in, along with all of the others. I must say though, I am a little surprised at Decastro getting in. Just seems to me that he is not doing as well as last year and he has definitely had more penalties. Kind've thought Gilbert had a better chance. Regardless, I am happy for all of them and they are all deserving.
