Keep in mind I did not say both are surefire outcomes. I am saying it will benefit us in the long run.

If we win the division and get the 3 seed we won't be seeing the pats until the AFCCG. I'll take my chances against them w/o Gronk to go to the super bowl. It will take a really good game but we can do it. Just win the next two and it will take care of itself

As the 3 seed, they will most likely get either Denver, Miami, or the Rats. I prefer Baltimore not be in the playoffs.

Should they win in the wildcard round, they'll play second seed. These next few weeks will determine if that's KC or NE. I really don't see KC losing twice allowing the Steelers to become 2nd seed.

The key to playoff success is to have Ben, Bell, and Brown healthy.

I've said it once and I will say it again, I don't like Brady, but if he had our offense ...Brady would've had about 3-4 more titles on his resume,..heading to the hof. Its just amazing to watch the best qb in the league carve up a defense like the ravens with little talent that he was working with. The game was over and wasn't close on the 3rd. Their spteams guys suck.

Feels like the last 2 weeks have been playoff weeks and the next 2 have the same feeling. The Pats just gave us the help we needed and now we our future in our hands. The next 2 weeks are big time, the Bunholes would love nothing better then to put a bump in our road and a battle on Xmas night is going to be epic with the Ravens.

I so worry about the Bunholes taking one of our guys out, we can't afford for this to happen again. I think there was a reason Dwill has not played the last few weeks. Everything I read he was close and I think there is no doubt he will be ready this week. Can't play scared we have to give Bell the rock but while they are focused on Bell Ben needs a major bounce back and that will have the Bunholes heads spinning.

You run the table. You beat down the lowly bungles. Show the crows the door. You keep the winning train rolling...Then and only then you can use the clowns game to rest starters. I don't want to hear mathematics. It's win the division or bust...

Finally! Someone understands it. You win the 3 left and leave nothing for anyone else to do, or to rely on. Bengals game is far from meaningless as this is the same sh$& talking team that would love nothing more than to interfere with the AFC North crown. Not to mention the bad taste that entire town has from that playoff loss. We win out and the 2 seed, or home game is all still on the table as of today, so, no, Cincy is anything but meaningless.

Brady with another offense might surprise you, he is a product of round peg fitting in round hole. He was out for the first 4 games and the Pats went 3-1 with not only the back up but also the 3rd string QB, it is the design of the offense. Brady under pressure isn't good at all, just like P. Manning couldn't play in cold climates for most of his career, so they use a modified West coast offense with short dink and dunk. The reason they are so good at it is because they use a TE as their deep threat and use small possession type receivers to catch short passes on slants and quick outs to the flats. They have personnel that play solid fundamental football, most defenses will allow short passes and long drives relying on the opposing offense to make a mistake and the truth is the Pats rarely make those mistakes. Look at our offense, big play threat is AB, and we have other play making receivers but remember the Eagles game, Markus Wheaton drops a sure TD pass, not to mention on long drives we normally end up with a holding call that kills the drive, the same type of penalties don't get committed with the Pats on a regular basis like happens to most other teams. Brady is a great QB, but make no mistake, they have won with the likes of Matt Cassel, and finished 11-5 with him, something he never did again with other teams, and this seasons 3-1 start, it isn't by accident that they can win with back ups and 3rd stringers, it is because the coaching is there along with discipline, something the Steelers still seem to be having a big problem with. So while Brady does deserve some praise and accolades, I often think he wouldn't be anywhere close to as good with any other team, their system fits his type of play and when the personnel is right everything works.

Oakland or Miami can't....Both are warm weather Teams and neither have enough D to beat the Pats ...The best suited Teams are KC,Denver, and yes the Rats ....The Pats will kill Oakland and Miami ...

Miami probably wont even make the playoffs, no Tannenhill, very possible they lose out.

Denver can't beat them with Seiman and they aren't playing the same lights out defense.

Agree with Rats and KC having a shot and I put us in there too. Defense is playing better than when we last met and almost beat them that game, with Landry. A healthy Ben and a secondary and defense playing good ball, I like our chances too.

Raiders have the offense to get in a shootout with the Patriots. You're probably right about Miami... unless Ajayi and offense can keep the ball from Brady.

I don't think Denver makes the playoffs. Funny how nobody brings up any AFC South teams.

The game in cincy means a lot in case we dont beat the rats, it means 10 wins and a shot at the 6 seed, even flacco said in his post game interview that losing last night hurt and put pitt in 1st place but we still get to play the steelers in pittsburgh, so it shows how much they are pinning their hopes on winning that game, of course if the eagles beat them sunday and we beat cincy we will be 2 games up on them and whether we win or lose to them in our matchup wont matter because if we lose we still have a 1 game cushion going into our final game against cleveland.........

Early in his career, I kept saying that Brady was a product of the system and was a game manager and nothing special. For the first few years I really thought that he was going to fall back to earth after his lucky Super Bowl wins. Shows what a great judge of football talent I am, lol. Instead of falling back to earth, he shot into orbit and by most objective standards you can make a very strong argument that he is the GOAT.

I agree, the Cincy game needs the team's full attention. They have absolutely nothing to lose and will go all out to beat us. This game will be extremely physical imo. Plus until we beat the Ravens, I'm not confident in the least with winning that game. They're riding a 4 game win streak. It's looking all roses with the standings now, but I'm not jumping the gun on anything. Especially with Ben's Jeckyll and Hyde home/away performances.

Do you think we don't want them to win their next three games? Just saying there's other ways to get in the postseason. Nothing wrong with talking about it.

I've watched- and hated - Brady for over a decade. He can thrive in any offense that doesn't require the QB to run. His dinks and dunks are the result of smart play, but he can - and does - go downfield with great accuracy, zip and touch as needed. He's one of the most accurate deep throwers in the game. He has trouble with pressure in his face IF that pressure is coming from a limited rush and not by vacating the underneath coverage in the middle of the field. If you blitz him, 70% of the time he's going to make you pay.

The way to beat him is with a 3-4 man rush that can get home combined with good coverage, but that recipe works against all QBs.

Truth is they had a blow out in hand until those two kickoff turnovers, the rats offense couldnt do anything until they got those two gift TDs, but then brady did his thing freezing weddle with his eyes to nail a wide open hogan, when brady is on he cant be stopped even without his weapons he makes new guys look like veterans.....

I tell you what I feel deep down the Patriots cost us a Super Bowl or two over the years but man watching Brady is something special. The guy has fire and just wins. The way he toys with the defense is masterful. Missing best TE, missing a good WR still threw for 400 yards. The majority of players that Brady plays with over the years are average at best (Chris Hogan who) but he makes them great. Steelers are getting hot at the right time and could be the only team to take them down. AFCC Steelers at Patriots? It would be a classic for sure.
