Good win but........

The Steelers left a lot of points out there. Game shouldn't have been as close as it ended up being. Roethlisberger had arguably one of his worst games of his career but still came away with a W thanks to the defense shutting down Shady. Can't make those mistakes going forward and expect to beat the competition coming up. Next weeks game is huge and hopefully Ben will bounce back with a much better game.

On another note. Phil Simms is unbearable to listen to. How he can even still hold an announcers job is beyond believable. He actually said that "the Bills would allow Bell to run on them at times during the game". Yea, I'm sure that was Rex Ryan's thought process going into the week. Please don't cash that paycheck Phil cause you didn't earn a dime of it. "In other words" You S T I N K.

For me, it is quite simple. Mike Tomlin simply cannot win; accolades, accomplishments, or otherwise. Sports fans truly are as or even more fickle than the autumn weather.

 

Team hasn't lost since I started these posts. Don't want to mess it up now. I'm incredibly superstitious.

My thoughts? I think it's ridiculous. I think 86 needs to get a hobby.
We won. I don't get this superiority complex that some fans have. Some of you claim you're realist, but seem to take these games so much harder than the so called Homers.
We were a 7-5 team playing a 6-6 team. Why some feel we should blow other teams out is beyond silly.
We dominated this game today and we were never really in jeopardy of having the Bills tie it up or take the lead.
Ben had a few bad throws in bad weather today. He does need to do better, but who doesn't?

Few notes:
We've won four in a row. We've scored first in each of these games and never gave up the lead. We never were in jeopardy of giving up the lead in any of these games. These have all been solid victories for a team who had lost four in a row.

We've won three straight on the road. I've heard people complain about us losing to bad teams on the road alot. Then we take care of business on the road and mostly the same people still complain. That's silly.

The Tomlin thing is beyond stupid. Same people saying the same silly stuff over and over. Most of the stuff is inaccurate or flat out lies. At least come up with some new material.

 

Nope. Pimply Dan was a legend. I'm just a loyal fan with a few dumbfounded issues.

Essentially my thoughts. Mike Tomlin will lose with some fans regardless of his accomplishments. Some will disagree though even if the evidence is there to justify the continual support of Tomlin's annexation. Remember though Steel;



Ben Roethlisberger's three Interceptions are all Tomlin's fault!


Artie's inability to get that fourth interception is due to the lack of Tomlin's teachings!


Sean surrendering that touchdown to Sammy Watkins is all on Tomlin!



The defense letting Buffalo hang in there is a byproduct of Tomlin not preparing his team!


Simply blame Tomlin!

 

Yes, I too loathe the Nantz/Simms pairing. They do compliment the Steelers periodically, but only to camouflage their Pittsburgh hate that seeps from their pores. At least that's the way it has sounded to me over the years.

Simple solution. I listen to the whole game on MUTE and do my own announcing with a 100% Steeler bias.

 

To be honest Blast they are better than Real Steels a win means nothing posts lol

A win is a win is a win. One down, 3 to go. I'm gagging but I hope the cheats take care of the crows tomorrow night.
The bungles game is going to be rough ride. They will be coming in with back to back wins and have nothing to lose.

Any road win is a good win, I don't care who they beat. When they lose to a bad team on the road, we get the fire Tomlin threads.
