People's hangup with him isn't his ability to play, it's his ability to stay healthy

Nah... It's not his play or ability, it's just that he has no eyebrows... Creepy but may be why he's so fast... #aerodynamic

Anybody who doesn't believe Shazier is a special talent when healthy needs to (as someone told me on this board once) "learn football" :lolol:. My only concern with him is that he can stay healthy. If he can, he's a difference maker in the mold of Polamalu.

he is a special talent but he gets exposed against teams like dallas where they ran straight at him and he probably has never had to pick himself up off the field that much in his life.

granted when teams go east and west he is as good or better than anyone.

My friends, he and Bud Dupree are The Steelers only special defensive players right now.
    Artie Burns will be.

Sean Davis I think has done a very good job at safety. I think this defense has a lot of young talent on it and some of that talent is starting to grow up. The key is consistency with the young guys and the last couple of weeks the defense has been rounding into shape. Need to keep that attitude and drive going!

He has a skin disease, that's why he doesn't have eyebrows (alopecia).

Dupree hasn't proved he's special yet, he hasn't played enough games.

Love Shaz. He just needs to stay on the field. With Tuitt, Dupree, Burns, Davis, and Hargrave we hit on some very nice players recently and they are all contributing right now. We desperately needed that after Shamarko and Jones flopped.

I can see your point, he may have some leverage deficiencies but you sacrifice that for his play speed. As time goes, he'll learn better ways to avoid the big uglies.

If able to mantain healthy, he could be an All-Pro, and an anchor you could build a D around.
Timmons is also playing at a high level, though.

I agree with you, but I do believe Tuitt, McCullers, etc. are doing better and are showing they have big play ability. And that big play ability is all that's needed to keep the special players free to be disruptive. The Steelers will need that if they qualify for playoff football.
