For those who went, I had a couple of questions. If you don't mind, could you answer? Thanks.

    1) Where there a lot of Giants fans there? How many, what percent would you say?

    2) Was this the normal amount the Giants bring? If not, what is? Was this more or less than normal?

    3) How did the turnout of Giants fans compare to when other teams are in PIT?
Compared to Dallas, San Francisco, Philly, New England, Baltimore, Chicago, Green Bay, Cincy, Washington, Jets, and Cleveland where did the Giants rank?

On TV, at least my impression, there seemed to be a lot of Giants fans.

This is the problem with cut and paste postings - some editing may be required. Still wishing you the best with your term paper/thesis?

Still seemed like a lot of empty seats for such an important game - unless at any given point of a game, 25% of the crowd is waiting in line for a beer brat or taking a wiz.

So, these are basically a template post regardless of how the turnout really appeared on TV?

I was there. Some giants fans but maybe 1%. We get more Baltimore and Cleveland fans.

I'll be curious to see the ratio on Christmas Day.

There were few no shows. Place was packed. After half time there are always a lot of empty seats from people still standing in lines. Many people started to leave early with about 3 minutes to go.

A buddy of mine from NY who is a die hard Steelers fan went with a convoy of his friends who are all Giants fans (about 30 in all)

Another buddy of mine from NY drove to the game with his wife . He was decked out in Steelers gear but she was in Giants gear as she is a fan, they had a good time

All stadiums are having issues at the moment when it comes to filling the seats (not necessarily selling out the game mind you but filling the seat on gameday)

For some the issue may be pricing of seats, parking, concessions etc but for others many others it comes down to being able to watch the game in HD from a cozy seat in your living room . I boast a theater room with 2 different satellites and tv's , The main being tunes to the Steelers while the secondary is on the red zone channel.
I love the stadium experience but it's hard going to a game in December (especially an evening game) when I can temperature control my environment here at home lol

All that technology and you still miss so much watching the game on TV. Let alone the experience. Me, I get the best of both worlds. Record the game and see anything I missed when I get home.

Steeler fans have been louder than I've heard them in years, seems to me.

I missed the Dallas game but my brother said it was the most opponents fans hes seen since we had tickets (1991). He said there were less giant fans than cowgirl fans. Cowboy fans pay a lot of $$ to see their team. Seats with list price of 165 in our section were going for 750 and up. Some people basically paid for next years tickets by selling the cowboy tics

I would estimate 5-10% giants fans, you really noticed it when they scored as the only ones standing were dressed in blue or red. Walking in it looked like the biggest group of visitor fans that i've seen.

Dallas had a bigger contingency than Giants and NE more than Dallas. NE may have pushed 5%.

PS there were more steelers fans in miami than ive ever seen opposing fans in the burg. At least we showed up in miami even though the steelers stayed home. for miami fans it was like they won the superbowl, we were in shock.

Years ago I went to an Atlanta game that was about 60% Steeler fans. The place literally ran out of beer and food.
