    Alright arm chair generals time to sound off. Tuitt's monster game is it the result of the opponent, the inspiration of losing Heyward, moving him around especially to Heywards side or the first signs of Butler getting creative? What's the consensus here?

    More than likely progress from Javon Hargrave in addition to the aforementioned OP's points. People need to remember that Javon offers more pass rushing upside than Dan does and is starting to use his leverage and hand placement more precise than what we saw at the beginning of the season.

    Of course this is Cleveland... but regardless, improvement is improvement and I will take that for the "Big Three of 2016" for sure.

    I`m gonna go with facing a Clowns`s O-line that is a mess, due to injuries, and letting their best 2 O-linemen walk in the off-season, 50%,
    and Keith Butler, compensating for missing Heyward, by moving Tuitt almost every snap, to a different position on the line, 30%, To him sending rookies after the qb, 10%, to our guys just getting after it, and not wanting to be embarrassed by losing to the Clowns, 5%, to Tomlin getting them fired up, 5%...

    I dunno, I`m too lazy to find the link, but, Heyward, challenged them all to show it wasn`t a fluke, Thurs. Nite, and keep getting after the QB, like they just showed they can...

    They set the bar high, now, show they can do it against another team that gave up a lot of sacks, even when they had an "elusive" Luck, at QB...

    I don't know why he wasn't moving guys around more already! He could have really done some damage flipping Heyward and Tuitt around the line.

    My thoughts exactly. The use of Timmons coming off the outside alongside Moats or Jones or Harrison, moving guys all over the place, being creative it was something I have been waiting to see.

    Cleveland's Oline is awful... where has this been from Tuitt perviously?

    Its expecting a lot, but we needed Heyward and Tuitt to have monster years, and it didn't happen.

    Problem is they were somewhat disruptive early, but you keep trotting out the same looks...this is the NFL still. Other teams get paid to scheme against your guys.

    Heyward has been hurt. He likely would have field-trained Tuitt the rest of the way. However, the injury bug...

    Still, Cam's hand is "in the pile," as he said. So, I think he's still helping Tuitt get there.

    We shall see when they suit up in Indy.

    All of the above, but mostly Cleveland's poor OL. Why has he
    had only 2 sacks coming into this game? Under achieved that's why.

    I think it is a little of everything and it will be interesting to watch tomorrow as the Colts oline is pretty bad as well. With the qb situation up in the air we could feast twice tomorrow....once with the family and once watching the defense chew up that oline......keeping my fingers crossed.

    i think it was because of the browns that it gave butler a chance to get out of his funk and comfort zone to actually try some different things. i think it showed him we can mix it up and play 3 rooks and have success. it benefited the players and coach to what we can do and that we will see more of it. :cool:

    Browns opponent sacks:

    Eagles= 3
    Ravens= 3
    Dolphins= 4
    Skins= 1
    pats= 2
    titans= 6
    bagels= 2
    jets = 1
    browns= 4
    raisins= 4
    steelers= 8

    As you can see Browns O line is atrocious. However, Steelers still got the most sacks and Browns have played better defenses. give credit to finally getting pressure. The trend however, must continue.

    Well, this is the Browns. That would be a very "Brownsy" thing to happen to them. :dancing:

    I am more impressed at the fact that, up until last week, neither Heyward nor Tuitt were shifted around as much as Tuitt was against Cleveland.
