What are the chances of this being a Packer\Steeler rematch? And if so, can we take them this year?

They're leading the NFC, we're leading the AFC at mid-season. Predictions and reasons why?

I think we can get there again. I think we'll have more heart-attacks along the way than the Packers will. I also think that if we play like we did against the Pats, perhaps
we can even get Rogers (far better QB than Brady) a little rattled.

I think we matchup better with them this year than we did last year. I think we matchup well against passing teams this year. Teams that worry me are power running teams like the Ravens that also have a great pass rush. Last year I think we matched-up well against the Ravens but poorly against the Pats and Packers, this year I think it's the complete opposite. Ben is going to be under pressure all game vs the Ravens and we're going to have trouble stopping Ray Rice.

The Ravens really worry me this year. So I think if we can get to the Superbowl without having to play the Ravens, then yes, I think we can beat the Packers. If we end up having to play the Ravens in the playoffs (if they even make it), then I just don't know. We really don'y matchup well against them this year.

To answer the OP, I don't like to think about such things because I believe in jinxes, but...sure, anything is possible/probable. :)

If they play against the Ravens like they did against the Patriots, then the Ravens may well play themselves out of the playoffs.

As for the Superbowl picks, Green Bay is not going to go 16-0...if they do, it'll be another 18-noooooo! ala 2007
I'd like to see Detroit, come playoff time the NFC will have several teams capable of knocking off the champs (think Seattle last year). It is very hard to repeat. There are several teams I don't want to see. Cowboys - I think the B&G are tied with them in all time playoff wins, last year's superbowl was to put us ahead, we need to take the lead for good this year. 49ers - With 5 rings, we don't want them getting 6 before we get 10. Also, I can't stand Hairball. First, because he almost kept us out of the superbowl in 95 with that damn hail mary, then he was a Raven, and now his whiny brother is the Raven coach. Others I don't want to see are in the AFC, but the Steelers can take care of them in the playoffs, they include SD with Rivers (3rd best QB from that draft class regardless of what the media says), Patriots, Ravens, Bengals, Browns (not that they have a chance), Jets, Titans, or Raiders.
