Cam Out for Season

Wow. More terrible news. This season is like the NFL equivalent of AIDS.

(Sorry, had to vent. I've been hoping we'd get everyone back healthy and go on a run, but it's not likely to happen this year.)

 

I hear ya. This is very heartbreaking

 

The Steeler defensive engine is shot with no Cam. We were running on 3 cylinders before....better hope Dupree comes back as Greg Lloyd...things are just getting progressively worse. I hope all these injuries aren't blinding the management and coaches....changes in approach and philosophy are still needed this offseason.

 

It's been so bad and I haven't heard from Reel Steel in awhile. Anyone know if he is ok?

 

Having a doom-gasm, I suspect.

 

This now brings up the biggest question in the upcoming off season...



EDGE Rusher or Malik McDowell (6'6, ~285 Michigan State)?

 

It's only week 10 and the fat lady is nearing her encore.

 

wonder if they'll look into free agency. Clifton Geathers is still a FA, was here last year.

Maybe rotating the backups in will make the impact less noticeable on the field. Hayward is obviously replaceable, but he and Tuitt were playing like 90% of the snaps. Maybe rotating fresh players will be ok. Who knows. Bad news altogether.

 

It really doesn't matter at this point. Our record reflects how inept the team really is. We will play down to level of Cleveland and who knows going forward. Time to do something different going forward.

 

He seemed to have insinuated that he refuse to continue to put his body in jeopardy while the rest of the players are playing indiscipline and are un accountable

 

Playing down to Cleveland would be opening man hole covers underneath the city and stomping through the septic system. Watching this team though, it definitely can be done.

This team is due for some good news...

 

I say screw it. Man across the board, single high safety, everyone else meet at the QB. Time to fight! Our offense is too inconsistent t score 30 a game and win shoot outs.
