I don't agree with going for 2 pt conversion in this game vs this team, at this point in the season, with our record, what do u have to gain other than one damn point, so the next td you try and go for the make up and fail again as oppsed to moving on taking the 1pt, then you have had the need to constantly be chasing for that mistake, we would have kicked a xtra point at end of game, then that would have changed the defensive scheme at end of game, but the last 2 pt failed attempt(in hich I think the cowboys guy tripped our guy but no mention) had us up by 1 instead of 2 kick the extra and we would be up by 3 instead, if no 2 pt conversions at all we would be up by 4 at the end ,we could have played prevent and probably won that game, but anyways it seemed like a lot of shady calls to me thruput the whole game and I'm really starting to believe more and more if u treat the NFL like what it really is, a scripted soap opera for men ,you wont be so upset at games like this

They should've gave it up after missing the first two times at least, going for it four times in one game is ridiculous.

I did not have an issue with any of the two point drives. Much of that is execution which falls on the players.

My issue is the lack of discipline from the entire team in terms of fundamentals, the lack of a run defense, the safety tandems lack of splash plays throughout nine games, the big three from the 2016 draft class being outclassed, and most importantly, key players on defense not named Ryan Shazier stepping up when they need to.

Dallas"s defense did the exact same thing , I actually think our defense didn't play so bad, it was just some bad calls, coats pass interference wasn't called, an AB pass interference call , and the last 2 pt conversion pass interference that wasn't called to me dictated the game, I think its BS, but if you Dallas is the best in the league then we are pretty good why all the gloom , did they look that much better than us? I think we gave them the game

Actually he's probably got a legit point. If we just take the easy 1 point every kick it is a 4 point lead and so we would not have cared about field goal range. We would have been focusing on stopping the TD which totally would have changed the way we defended Dallas. Dallas probably would have not been running the ball with 42 seconds on the clock either.

I think you add this with a insanely stupid penalty and you can definitely say we beat our selves.

defense didn't play bad? shiiiiiiiiiiiit I would hate to think what you see as bad. I don't blame Tomlinson on the 2's cause that's who they are and have been its not like we were trying to get sneaky creative. Lots of other plays cost us though, Bad D overall (you gave up 35 pets to a rookie QB at home, Eli Rodgers drop at the end of the 1st half (a catch would've made for an easier 3, missed blocks , etc but today was on the D

Was their defense that much better, we scored a go ahead td in 30 seconds, this is the way NFL wants it today ,score points, cant touch anyone on offense etc, I blame the offensive game plan more than the defense, don't get me wrong the defense isn't great but they held their own, I hate Jarvis Jones and Mike Mitchell with a passion though, but to me, its the offense game planning that weird, its like no rhythm, its either three of the same plays over and over, 3 bombs in a row, 3 runs up the middle, 3 screens to AB, no mixing up of things, no play action with a rb like Leveon, I think that's our problem, we are an offense team first with a young defense correct? I don't feel with our franchise QB, franchise wr and rb, an o line we are looking very dominant

I can't imagine playing on a Steeler Defense that is told to "let them score".
The whole let them score fad is stupid.

Why go for 2 when you don't need too? Take the extra point which is more likely to be made. To me it just shows arrogance when you don't need the extra one point. Especially if you score a touchdown first. Kills momentum when you don't convert.

My point is even if we go for the next few extra points instaed of the 2 pts tries we would have won this game, ive been watching nfl for some years and I knew this would be a close game, I hope Mike Tomlin, and Todd Haley and etc would know that as well so why would they do that.it stinks, points are a premium u always take the points but the Steelers and Mike t don't roll like that we want style points like he likes to say it and go for that extra 1 pt like that will make the difference yeah right

Our offense game plan was weird?? They scored 30 points, Ben threw for over 400 yds with 3 TD's and the offense had no turnovers. That is a stoneclad recipe for a victory unless of course, the defense stinks. That is the issue here. Our defense stinks. It has stunk for a while and it stunk today. I thought they may have wised up by putting Shazier on the outside on the fumble sack, but I didn't see it the rest of the game. Butler stinks - needs to go. Should have never been given the job. There was a reason he didn't find a DC job elsewhere all those years and it wasn't because of his loyalty. Hopefully Tomlin cans him tomorrow and we can move on.

Arrogant is the perfect word to describe Mike Tomlin. Arrogant when he shouldn't be. Wait till the stains beat us next week. Think he will be humbled then? Probably not.

Dude I hear you, I agree our defense isn't great, but really whos is, was Dallas defense that much better, no not really because Ben had 300 yds blah blah blah, every QB in the league does that now so its not a big deal , but its situational football, our offense isn't putting teams away, kicking fieldgoals when we shoud be scoring tds making the game out of reach, then are defense can be more aggressive. The offense seems to stall in weird ways, weird 3 and outs when the game can be out of reach,in my opinion bad play calling,we should be running better, using play action a lot more, we have the qb ,we have deep threats, a decent line and sppeddy wrs for underneath stuff, and a great running back, we have far superior talent than the patriots for example, but for some reason its that hard to copy there easy ass formula of run, set up play action, then slants to AB oh plus we have a better deep ball QB and proven deep threat wrs so its baffling to mewhy there are games like those of Philly, Miami and Bltimore in which this offense looked inept
