Ladarious Green to play

Saw that Ladarious Green is expected to play Sunday. That could be huge and certainly a positive. I'd love for the first offensive play to get him the ball down the middle of the seam/field for like a 25 yard gain! Hopefully another reliable, healthy and good-blocking weapon! Shouldn't hurt, right????

 

If he even sees any snaps, don't expect too much out of him. I'm sure he will only see limited action but still good to see.

Even if he just gets the 17 snaps that David Johnson got last week, and I think that is who is getting cut, he will help us some.

 

He has to be rusty. I hope he does not drop his first pass.

Green has been practicing for three weeks. He's good to go. His snaps won't be limited, and I'd say 17 snaps would be a low number on Sunday. This guy is 6'4 and runs a low 4 sec 40, he can move! AB Coates (if he brings his catching hands) Rogers, Green, and Bell form a good WR group.

 

Our team thrives on Green. This is great news.

We need Heath again, just try to be productive at that role.

 

I'd be happy just to see some 2 TE sets. That means extra blocking help, and some single coverage shots down the middle.

With one TE they had to keep James in to block, and doubled WR's.

With 2 TE's, maybe they can keep those 2 Dallas safety's busy and open up AB, but if they use a LB to cover one of the TE's, fine with me. I think James and Green can beat LB coverage.

But Ben needs to be on his game.

 

The more weapons the merrier. Roger's showed promise last week and I feel that Coates can be dangerous and Hamilton has some skills so the addition of Green (i'm sure just being eased in) hopefully will get the double and triple teams off Brown. Time for Ben to spread it around keeping the defense off guard because he looks to frequently Browns way.

 

The Post Gazett this morning says he is questionable.....but do we really know what that means this year?.

 

green, coates, hamilton, brown, bell........... we're gonna need more footballs.

 

We're going to need someone who can find the one who is open and throw an accurate pass.

 

I always assumed Green was just an urban myth.

 

Well, with that thought, we could use Ladarius at QB. Somehow he and Boyd have identical passing statistics with the Steelers.
