Wow, according to the article we were one of the most disciplined teams in the league in 2015, and in the upper half in terms of penalties this year - even after yesterday. Sloppy play is a league-wide problem, probably because the CBA puts so many limitations on practice time.

I think you have good point. But some coaches are finding a way to be more "buttoned-up" even with the CBA.

It's also interesting that they note the Raiders are more penalized than the Steelers. Yet, the Raiders are 7-2 on the season. It's definitely interesting.

I do think Tomlin should consider benching players when they are undisciplined. What other options does he have to install discipline if practice time is limited?

Our run game probably looks fantastic in practice against our run defense.

All the teams live under the CBA, and even though I haven't watched all the games but I have yet to see a team so talented on paper look so bad in a defeat. Even if we had no coaches I think the players could rally this team to look better than they did in the loses. I mean, the Cleveland Browns don't look this bad when they lose.

He will have even more time to do it now that TTF has banned him too. LOL! Although he won't be able to post it here and will sorta probably feel like he is walking around perpetually holding a sneeze.

This team has the vibe of a team that's going to miss the playoffs. I think we are on the brink of falling apart. A loss next week could be the nail in the coffin. Tomlin and Co need a win this week more than ever. We beat the cowboys and momentum could quickly shift back into the right direction. If we lose, I don't see how Tomlin keeps the team together. 5 losses with 7 games to go doesn't bode well for a playoff run. We've got a relatively easy schedule the rest of the way so running the table is do able. I just don't see a pulse with this team. It seems like the players are no longer responding to the coaches. Even if we somehow manage to sneak in going 9-7 does anyone think we have a chance to doing anything against good teams? Tomlin's record in big games is as bad as his record against bad teams.

It's been mentioned before that Tomlin measures a successful season by going .500 that will allow you to keep your job.if this happens this year the Rooney need to have a come to Jesus talk with Tomlin that's unacceptable.

I remember Ben criticizing coaching for practices being too physical. Ben is very careful with his words.

I recall coaches complaining about players not listening in saying after a win that they (the players) finally started to listen to them.
Not sure who is at fault but seems this team is coming apart and divided.

MT better get there attention quickly before it's too late. The season will slip away, we need
to get on a roll starting this week. This team has too much talent to not make the playoffs.

It does seem like more players are talking more about practices then ever before. Something is not right there, and Tomlin's sideline expressions on game day looks different and weird.

Last sentence is often the final nail in the coffin for playoff teams as well. Cohension, trust and unity are needed to win games in any team based sport. This is true though especially in the NFL where every game counts.

To not have any of those three is a disaster waiting to unfold.
