Coaching is something you clearly have a deep understanding of.

It's Tomlin's fault, or the Rooney's, or the coordinators depending on the week. Player execution is completely dependent on coaching magic

Lot of knee jerks week to week, been guilty of it here and there over they ears myself, but I'm interested in your opinion RPO...

What would you have done coaching wise today with your choice only involving Ben, pre game in game

Guess I need to find the "Renegade" portal to find Bill Cowhers. The issue is that said portal to obtain said magic is very difficult to find.

Even if I ask Troy, I do not think it will be in the same place. :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

I would've gave him the first maybe second drive of second half and then went to Landry good or bad... Hope for a spark/protect the investment

Execute with the plan that has won us four games with the exception of halftime adjustments. Outside of that nothing else I would have done.

Just hope the players execute the plan.

These are the worst losses I've seen by a Steelers team since '03 and '99 seasons. Eagles, Dolphins and 3 quarters of the Ravens game were so bad, it was painful to watch. There's no excuse for the offense to put up more penalty yards than total yards.

Bill Parcells said it best with this quote and it relates to the Steelers situation in '16: "We're flying a burning plane."

At this rate.. the Steelers will be picking in the top 10 in the '17 draft. Maybe that's what this team needs.

at halftime, I hoped for adjustments. 2 drives in, it was apparent that the execution on whatever level wasn't being met. Lots of flags that weren't on Ben, but he wasn't exactly helping the team in his own right.

Should've went another route to protect Ben for another day and hope for a spark.

It worked for a team that's about to tie our SB's

I don't think you yank a franchise QB if he is healthy enough to play. You don't mess with finicky diva QB's head and confidence for future games. Just my thoughts, and beside that Landry Jones?

Who would that be? Certainly not the 9ers. Cowboys haven't changed coaches recently and Jimmy Johnson wasn't an immediate fix. I don't recall how many years it took for the Herschel Walker trade to pay off.

8 games left, and we were 4-4 last year at this time. Anyone who thinks Landry should've started please see yourself to the door! Ben was rusty, but he moved better than I thought, and ran one in for a score, so it wasn't his knee. Also, once they found a rythm did you not see those passes? He was dropping them in WRs hands! Play calling was sketchy as those run plays on 3rd down were horrible. Lots of work to do, but time to do it in

Yeah you do, if it means health and maybe getting a spark. What you don't do is say, "leave him in to Learn" after all these years. You check him.... Let him know win or lose, the team comes first

It doesn't matter if they aren't a playoff team after 8 games, they will be after 16 games though.

I did say if he is healthy. Getting a spark would of been quit running up the middle with a stacked line and throw quick short passes to Eli and tight ends, that's the plays the were open. We didn't execute but we sure didn't get any help from play calling in the first half.
