So you believe Tomlin deserves full and unqualified credit for 2 super bowl appearances, and coaching a team that's never had a losing record?

Because I know you aren't... Which is why you are part of the silly fan base.

    Each game unto its own.

I'm more than happy to break down the failures at all levels in any game... But the silly fan bases reactionary nature... Is just that... Silly

We all know Ben is pretty lousy coming off an injury. Even lousier when he isn't even half of what he was prior to injury. Tomlin and staff had more than enough footage to see it wasn't working... Yet they left their investment out there to possibly get mashed worse and although with 5 minutes left and still within reach of un screwing him/themselves, fell short.

He lobbied a game time start with splitting reps with Landry this week. Shouldn't have played period.

I'll resist the urge to reciprocate with the name calling. I will give Tomlin credit where credit is due. But I still believe his legacy will be that he underperformed as a head coach and allowed many years where the window of opportunity was there slip away.

Right now, there are 8 games left. Did you not watch the pregame stuff with Cowher talking about the '05 team?

Leveon bell rushed 14 for 32 because Tomlin is a bad coach

Or they should have run no-huddle spread from the start, not just run Bell into the line twice, setting up 3rd and 10.

Actually, yes. They tried to outmuscle an 8-man front and predictably got shut down. Run, run, pass. Run, run, pass.

Maybe you're not as dumb as you look.

That team had a great defense and much better coaches.

It's been eight years since he Switzered them to a title with Cowher's team.

He's running out of Cowher's players and cliches.

Many Green Bay fans feel the same way about Mike McCarthy.

Smart coaches can turn around a team in one offseason, especially a team with a lot of talent, like this one.

Some of you fans overestimate the talent on this team, Ben, AB, and Bell have barely played together since 2014 I think it's only 15% of the games because of suspensions and injuries.

So coaching doesn't matter, it's on the players

Which way do you want to have it?

Plenty of good OL, QB, WR, RB. Tons of top picks on defense.

They just don't have an identity on either side of the ball.

Remember when we scored 51 on Indy a couple years ago? Tomlin said after the game that they knew they had to score every possession because of Luck.

Have they showed that type of urgency lately? And why wouldn't you play every game like that?

Brilliant! That kind of thinking has worked out so well in S.F., Tampa, Miami, San Diego..............

But when Tomlin turned around the steelers team that missed the playoffs under Cowher, you don't give him credit.

But if we fire Tomlin and turn things around you'll have to discredit the next coach for winning with Tomlin's players

Oh... The joy of mocking the stupid

I should have referenced Cowher's coaches, too. Tomlin largely was out of the way the Super Bowl year. Ready made team, ready made coaching staff, he really wasn't allowed to touch much. Just craft a few shiny phrases every week and point to the camera now and then.

Now that he's gotten more control of the football operations, we all see what a dunce he is.

They scored 51 on Indy because their defense sucks, FYI the other teams get paid too and are professionals they don't lay down just because they're playing the Steelers. The talent at WR nobody consistent except AB, Bell hasn't played a full season yet because of injuries and suspensions Ben is inconsistent good at home terrible on the road.

But it's the Steeler way!!!! crap the season and scratch and claw for a playoff spot maybe if we're lucky we can get a wild card spot and limp into the post season with half the team injured just to get embarrassed and man handled.

My, my, such fighting talk among us.

I will agree with those stating that the players have to play better and thus far I have not seen much of these players step up. There are many examples and more such as these:

    What happened to David DeCastro?

Why has Stephon Tuitt yet to record a sack even with Cameron Hayward with him?

Where is the pass rush that does not include James Harrison or Cameron Hayward?

What type of tackling form was Mike Mitchell doing?

What type of coverage discipline was Artie committing?

What happened to the offensive line today?

Can the number two receiver please stand up?

Many more questions than answers I assure you. However, the fact remains is that the players are not winning their one on ones. Coaching only does so much. The rest is up to the players.
