Why is that BS? It's gotta be damn near impossible coming up with a schedule, especially when they have to take into account bye's, travel, short weeks, the stadiums already in use those dates, etc. I see nothing wrong with both teams coming off a bye

 

If this team can't stop the run it's over. At least with passes you can hope for drops

I'm sure they're getting paid plenty to make those schedules .

I look at a bye as a mid season break for rest and a chance to reset, with an advantage coming back in from extra rest and preparation. both teams coming off a bye, advantage gone. If this were true of all teams coming off a bye than fine, but I strongly suspect it's not. so we've got some teams playing off the bye with an advantage against their opponent and others not.
