Ahhhh.... good to see arguably the most violent, physical playoff game in NFL History again.....

*collective sigh..... the good old days....

That game hurt just to watch lol. Man, that was a fun team to watch. Closest any of us younger guys will probably ever come to seeing the 70s Steel Curtain defense.

That was certainly one of the best Steelers games this millennium. One for the ages.

We should have won that game by 20 pts. We let the ravens hang around as usual.

That game means nothing if they don't win the Super Bowl this year.

Sadly, if you let a current NFL ref crew re-watch that, they'd probably flag 20 or 30 plays. The game is barely recognizable anymore. At some point, the league decided that a league consisting of wide open 5-yard passes was the best way to go.

The Tomlin rebuild is scheduled to be complete by 2020. Be patient!

who was that player of ours trying to coach him up on the sidelines

I was there in person- great memory! although for pure violence I'd put the 1975 AFC Championship game up against it.

I was sitting in the 2 second row from the top of the stadium for this game ... that hit Ryan Clark laid on McGahee was so loud you could could hear it all the way up where I was like it only came from 10 feet away.

That defense was sexy. Pass rush that collapsed the lines in 1-2 seconds and secondary that could tackle

I still believe the 1975 AFC Championship is the gold standard for how physical the NFL truly is. Then again, for modern NFL fans, the 2008 Championship is the closest thing we have: a great thing considering so many NFL fans consider this too violent and live in their safe spaces.
