Burns is no Deion Sanders, so he better start tackling. Its pretty important that he does,.

is it more of burns success or davis not working out in the slot? gay taking over the slot is a better fit for gay. davis over golden at SS maybe? it's hard to say what this move means. where is gilbert? sounds like a move to get some speed out there and a better slot man in play. maybe too many things for davis to have to learn and they want him concentrating on safety and in doing that he brings a lot more speed to the back end. bringing gay to the slot also could help tackling nearer the LOS. this move could mean many things they are looking for.

No I think it is Burns success because they would still start gay but move him to slot when not in base packages.

While Burns hasn't shown much as a tackler, it's sad that he's been the last line of defense so often. The front seven is not very good, either.

Wonder where these "Deion Sanders" comparisons are coming from?

I do not believe Deion would suplex receivers. In addition, Burns has shown the desire and willingness to tackle. The issue is his discipline and form, both of which are correctable. Once those issues are ironed out, these frivolous comparisons will end.

Gonna take some growing pains, no doubt.. He still has a ways to go. Get ready for some Mike Wallace double move go routes on Sunday. Flacco is going to be chucking the ball downfield and crying for a flag every other play.

Wallace sucks at getting off of press coverage especially against bigger corners.

I like Cockrell, as well. Even though the secondary still often takes it on the chin, I am excited that they play more aggressively. Now, all they need to do is pull the ball in when they get their hands on it.

The team is definitely struggling in this department. It's frustrating, for sure. Once Cam went out, they couldn't stop the run. That's very concerning.

This is where the coaches can shine. They should know how to take Wallace out of his game. Tomlin should know Wallace well enough to plan to take him out of the game.

As long as about 3 straight plays go away from him he should lose focus and be a complete non factor. Lol.

This is what I'm afraid of. Flacco PIs have killed the Steelers in the past.

If you watch the New England game when Blount came his way he wanted no part of him, he definitely shied away from contact. Deion Sanders would make fun of himself, he didn't like to tackle he called it making a business decision.

If Gay is playing the slot CB, Butler needs to get him involved in blitzing the QB.

That's the problem he's nowhere near the type of player Deion was, he needs to stick his nose in there and be more physical.

    He lacks technique not willingness.

Burns said it has to do with the scheme they want to deploy so to me that says bump and run since the Ravens love to chuck it deep.

I don't think they are comparisons I just think when you talk about a CB that can't tackle you automatically think of Deion. To compare Artie to Deion is just crazy and unfair, imo.
