I believe when healthy our Defense will be pretty good. I think we get healthy and this whole thing is going to come together for us on both offense and defense in a few weeks and we're going to be hard to beat.

I'm more surprised no one's called for the strength and conditioning coach's head yet.

Remember a couple years ago when Woodley was hurt and there was a call for his head? It's the same coach still.

Eagles have a new D coordinator and switched to a 4-4.
They are leading in many D stats.
I'm not accepting that Butler's D needs time to mature.
But then again I don't own the team.

It is interesting now that you mention it.

Ben stated these injuries are piling up due to the physical practices. At the same token... could it not be due to the abilities of the strength and conditioning coach and his inability to properly condition them for such practices?

That's because Schwartz looked at the players he had and what they were good at and designed a system for them to succeed. Many of them using the concepts they already knew. For better or worse Butler is sticking to his core philosophy with some new wrinkles but it is what he knows and unfortunately it's complex to learn and then get to being second nature so everything is instinctive.

Our defense is awful, regressed really bad. Tied last in sacks, 16th in takeaways, 13th in points, 16th in rush defense, 28th in pass defense.

With our high octane offense commanded by a hobbled captain that can't score on a 4 man rush, and our awesome D we are going all the way.

Yea I real steel'D it whatever lol

Shouldn't Butler be doing exceptionally well with this defence since he inherited all of DLs players?

I have a few years back, I wonder if all of these injuries could be preventable? Do you think
our OL is as strong as they could/should be?

Shouldn't we be firing whoever buys the weight room duct tape first?

We had guys puking and cramping in Miami. Inexcusable that they weren't properly hydrated.

Definitely a reach. Logan is the only guy listed that matters, and he was injured in Week 6 - a game that they lost by giving up 27 to Washington. Our injuries would be the equivalent of them losing Cox and Kendricks for an extended period.

But hey, keep on reaching to push your Tomlin sucks agenda. :thumbs up:

Injuries are stacking up for all the teams this season, the cards lost 2 more starters this week for a total of 8 starters out, so injuries cant be an excuse for poor playing on the field for us, or can conditioning coaches be blamed for it, these are pro players who know how to get in condition to play in a game without a wet nurse telling them what they need to do to be game ready....

Our injuries are on pace with most other teams. Our injuries just seem to be to critical players

Well, the Cards are 3-4-1 after a 13-3 season, so I do think their injuries are affecting their results. Coaches and players will never (or rarely) use injuries as an excuse, but everyone knows that when you replace a Heyward with a Matthews or a Big Ben with a Landry Jones, the team's performance will suffer. Better players get paid what they do for a reason.

This. I'll never understand why some fans will try to dismiss injuries.

You're not players, you don't have to buy into coach speak.
