Very true, RPO. Was going to make a similar thread.

Disappointed with the loss but very encouraged otherwise.

Oh well to the game... and the conference.

At least going into the bye week we know that Landry is more solid than some of us thought he would be.

Some good things today for sure. I just really think we could have won that game but we blew it moreso than they beat us.

At full strength, we are better than them. I wonder if we'll ever be at full strength (or even close)

I'm still very dissatisfied with the ever problematic clock management. Back up QB or not, this is a bad pattern that must be corrected. The sooner the better.

I don't see how you can be encouraged after watching that defense. The only thing that stopped Pats was them dropping passes

I'm encouraged for sure. Pats are the class of the AFC and we hung with them without eight (!) impact players in uniform.

Considering that this Patriots team is a paradox to their previous ones... this variation of the Bill Belichek led Patriots is arguably it's weakest with Tom Brady.

While their offense and defense are good... they are no longer the surgeon level caliber that we saw in 2014; 2015 even.

They will still get into the playoffs and will likely take the No. 1 seed but given the AFC is even weaker than last year, this conference can be as good as anyone's; Pittsburgh's or otherwise.

I'm encouraged by a few things l witnessed. Many plays were left out on the field we didn't take advantage of. Must beat Ratbirds in two weeks. No more losing to bad teams.

A very banged up team heading into a much needed bye week... Alone at 1st in the division. I have seen much worse. We got this. :)

I am still dissatisfied with the lack of stopping the run game as this will have been now two weeks Pittsburgh has given up over 150+ rushing yards.

In the same token... no Cameron Heyward hurts... bad...

If they play them again this season though, it will be on their homefield.

Jay Ajayi put up 212 against the Bills today. Apparently, he really is that good.

I'd say the Pats kinda dictated personnel today didn't they? They would run out a spread formation and then handoff to Blount or at least it looked that way.

Not saying they did not but considering that players have to make plays, no one stepped up in that area; Josh McDaniels given the opportunity to simply run the ball as a result.

    Wow
I can't believe some people here actually believe they saw a Pats team that will be the same in the playoffs
    Bill Bellichick knows better

Highly unlikely, New England will need 1 more loss than the Steelers that's not happening. The Patriots play in a weak division, they just about have the #1 seed locked up with their win against the Steelers.

The Steelers won't be the same team either in the playoffs, they will be healthier we hope and more dangerous.
