My wishlist against NE

It seems like no one is giving us a chance to even compete on this one.

I'm going with an unconventional approach to this one in some of my wishes:
First of all, I'd like to see that our Coaches came into this game with a gameplan and a mindset.
Jones: do not forget to swing for the fences. Coates, DHB, Brown. Someone could take advantage and get a quick, long score.
In fact, start the first offensive series throwing long if the box is stacked. Playaction.
Bell: give this guy the football, frequently. If the box keeps being stacked and we have no succes here, it could mean an opportunity for Jones looking for his playmakers.
Some are calling for early trickery (flea - fleacker, sweep-pass from bell, Wildcat). I wound't mind seeing one of this in the first half, but not as a constant strategy. This plays work as long as they are unexpected.
Oline: come on, there are at least two pro-bowlers on this unit. We should be able to run and have some time to throw.
Hit Brady. Constantly. One big hit by Harrison could make my day (well, a win too!).
The name of this game is create turnovers. If we can get 1 early that can be translated into points it will make a difference.
Defensive backs: at least one interception from this unit is a need. Do not give up YAC, keep the football in front of you.
ST: One huge AB return.

In summary, what I think will give us a best chance is:
A deep throw TD from Jones. Early turnover that we can translate into points. And a big ST play (return TD). And a big hit from Silverback to Marcia (ok, that isn't exactly something that gives us the best chance to win, but I'd love to see that!).

No more injuries, for God's sake.
And a W!


What's on your wishlist?

 

This isn't a talentless team without Ben and Heyward. Need our stars to play like stars. If AB, Bell, and Shazier all have huge games we can win. Others will feed off of it.

Oh, and I'll take the 15 for one of these. Make a statement early that we're not going to lay down.

 

My first wish is that the Steelers defense commits three and outs on key situations.


My second wish is for the offense to sustain drives and dominate the TOP.

 

I only have 2 wishes...win the game, don't care how, blow out, close ugly win, don't care. Just win.

2nd wish, pain for Brady. Make him wish he was someplace else. Make him remember the game the week after it's over. That's it.
