Steelers are in my hotel!!!

Haven't been here in awhile...you know stuff happens and I read posts but don't feel I can contribute lol!

Bear with me while I boast and star struck and only my son saw Jarvis on our floor.

Boys bd present was to come down to game in Mia and wouldn't you know we go down on our wait out to dinner and there are armed police at elevators and lobby filled of fans. Feels weird they are so close!

 

That's awesome. I remember when Jerry Garcia was in the same hotel as us up in Chicago in the early 90's after playing Soldier Field.

My advice. Leave a bunch of posted notes in the elevator.

If nothing else it will get a laugh!

At first - with the name of the thread saying "my hotel" I'm thinking Paris Hilton is now a well known member of TSF MB? I was relieved to see it was you Natalie. Enjoy - that's always awesome when it happens by chance. Happened to me with the Pirates in Frisco for an early season game back in the early 90's . Met Doug Drabek in the bar afterwards -a game he won plus hit a home run so I gave him an autographed official scorecard I had filled out and (because of that act) he went on and won the Cy Young that year. Take charge Natalie!

But I kept on thinking , Ab is using this or that, or I wonder...

Heck I'm up at 4:50 am excited for my day to start! Boys and I are sitting on 10 yd line ll steelers side. You don't even want to know how much I paid for seats! But my boys are older now and would rather buy them memories then stuff...except I bought them "stuff" too lol! And it might be a tad self serving that "I " have to go too lol!

Ps...by the look of things since I have been down here ... seems to be just like it was in ATL. More black and yellow!!! Even most of my friends here have finally just given up the Fins...I hope they lose big by our Steelers and lose every game after! Karmas a *****!

 

I wasn't there ( ugh) but Zach said Jarvis Jones was getting ice on our floor and from one football player to another... he said they just gave eachother " the knod" lol!

 

Cute idea!!! I'm up early and I'll go do that! Of course my luck they'll catch me with my Steeler pj's on.

I wonder how early they will get up? Omg I better shower now ( kidding)

 

Have fun and I hope you/ boys can get an autograph or two or just get to talk to some of the players before they leave
for the Stadium. For the most part I think the Steeler team mostly consist of good guys, approachable.

 

Friends invited us down for the game and we went out to dinner in the same hotel. I was walking in with Kevin Colbert who was a year behind me in the same high school. I didn't know him personally so I just left him alone.

Edit: My friend showed up in a Ferrari. 2 kids yelled There's a Lamborghini, he must be a player". Then my 50 some year old friend got out, the kids looked at him, and just walked away.

Apparently natalie was a huge distraction to the team, causing them to lose focus and play role reversal with the fins.

Glad to hear about your awesome experience though. You've at least got good taste in hotels.
