There was a lot of talk about Big Ben making a run at league MVP this season. With the inconsistency over the last couple weeks what's the thought on this still being a possibility?

He would have to be pretty lights out. Some missed throws (big ones) again today.

Just for the sake of the discussion.
Based only on the three games played so far is he in the discussion?

Not now if we are accounting for only the three weeks of the season.

Otherwise he is in the running when the season is over.

I don't think anyone has really stood out though yet in this young season though Glenn, however I'd be happy if the talk goes away. Ben always seems to show badly when individual accolades are talked about.

He certainly still has the potential, but not if things keep going the way they have the last 2 weeks.

He seems to be a in a funk at the moment, he's missing throws that he usually makes in his sleep. what gives? Not worried yet, but if it becomes a trend i'll be a little concerned

I was thinking about this earlier today actually and I think the only thing working in his favor is that at this point there still doesn't seem to be anyone else that seems a clear cut favorite. I'm still doubtful he gets it though because I don't see him surviving the season is the protection doesn't hold up any better than it did today. Most qb's that win it these days seem to always have a clean jersey.

Bell is one hell of a safety valve receiver..he'll be in discussion come the end of the year.

Honestly I'd say DWill would be the MVP based on this far in the season. At his age to be running like he still is and leading the league in rushing is really impressive. Although I would assume after today he is no longer the rushing leader but I've not looked to see.

Looking over the list of mvp's there is a clear pattern of the most consistently dominate player of that time. Not just that year buts player that has consistently dominated. So prolly not

He was winning it until game 3. He had what 600 almost 700 yards and led the league with 6td passes?

Well, we have to say Wentz, surely.

What we need to get Ben back on track is a better use of the running game.

Not with Brady back he locked it up his first game back today LOL... Sorry can't change font on this old iPad.

He's certainly in the mix but W's are more important and I'll take those all day long

Leading the league in TD passes is he not? I'd be willing to bet that if he does that for the entire season and we win like 12 games or more he would be the winner. He could really do himself a favor and keep putting the huge numbers up on the big games (turkey day @ Indy, Sun night @ Bengals and our bigger matchups home vs NE and home vs Dallas). I don't care for the individual awards as much, but it would be nice to see Ben get the respect he deserves outside of Steeler nation (although he's been getting more love recently than in years past).

Lord Brady will be MVP even if Ben gets 15 more TDs and more wins than Brady.

Nah... I meant 15 more TDs at the end of the season. Something like Ben- 50 Brady- 35... Brady would still get the MVP. Just because.
