Steelers got Green because he is that ripe year of his athleticism and understanding of the NFL, tutored under a HOF, and displayed POTENTIAL world-beating play.

So.., it's still all potential. Not gonna get rid of him becausd he didnt start for the first quarter to half of his very first season here.

Sure give him away. Pats will pick him up and coach him up if we don't want to.

I would burn this bridge as fast as economically possible. Maybe they can trade him to Cleveland and get the Gilbert pick back.

    False. 1:38 time stamp

You can't watch that 3 minute video and tell me The Outlaw and Grimble are better.

My statement is correct. I did my fact checking before posting. Read my post again and see if you can figure out where your error is.

I make a statement about how he's a tight end who can take it to the house and you come at me with a limited stat only including 2 years. When he's only really played 3. First year, he only played 4 games. Cool.

Point still remains. Never had a tight end with his ability/up-side including The Outlaw and Grimble. Not sure how you can watch his highlights and not want to see what him Ben, AB, Bell, and company can do. With Martavis? MB deep, AB running the whole tree, Bell with the threat of running and catching out the backfield, and a tight end who can take it the house? They'd be unstoppable.

No apology. He's only played 3 full seasons as a back-up nonetheless and you come with a cherry picked 2 year stat to fit your agenda.

Heath only had one catch longer in his 2nd year. Take away Heaths first 2 years so 9 seasons and never had a catch of 50 yards or over. So like I said never had a tight end of Ladarius Greens ability. Enjoy being wrong :)

I made a joke about cutting Green after the Cincy game when both JJ and XMan had a TD but Id much rather have Green in the mix. Neither JJ or Grimble has his skill set. A healthy green would make our TE group potent.

In my lifetime, 20+ years. I know you can make a case for Eric Green and Cunningham. How the league is now.. To be that big, fast, and athletic ability. Imo impossible to compare them to him. He's 6'6 240. Runs a 4.4 40. Looking at the specs of elite WR's or TE's. There's only 2 with his build... Same height but weigh 20+ lbs more Gronk and Eifert. Ladarius Green is faster then both obviously. That's elite company and people want him to go for Jesse James and Grimble?

I'm thinking people such as myself had hopes for him and Christmas has been delayed for months. It's not he who is the villain, but the Grinch is around here somewhere.

Yeah, I don't see the problem, unless he really does go full Staley.

Whatever we think of JJ vs Green, the fact is that David Johnson is rubbish and having Green, JJ and Grimble is a superior TE corps to what we currently field.

I have mixed emotions about him now, his skill level will enhance
the TE position dramatically. He is head and shoulders better than what we have
playing the position right now. I am pissed he and his agent lied to the Steelers
about his injury and he should be much farther along in his rehab. I think the man lacks heart
may not care/love football. For this I say, you better be impactful when you get on the field
because you have been a pain in the ass off the field. If he turns out to be a Duece Staley
    lets cut our losses quickly.

I liked Green in S.D. Very talented but he took too some nasty shots.
