So, it looks like Gilbert is 'highly questionable' and Harris is questionable for Sunday. Which means Hubbard would be the starting RT if they can't go. And let's face it, there is probably no chance Gilbert plays, so it's really down to Harris.

Anyone else terrified by the idea of Hubbard at RT against any D-Line, never mind against the Jets?

What's the name of the guy on the PS, that can play tackle? Feiler or something? I remember his name coming up in camp reports, but I don't recall noticing him much in the preseason games. I guess he gets a hat on Sunday... He kind of has to.

    Thoughts?

Well that wouldn't be the best. I think having Bell kind of helps this. Ben has the potential to get the ball out of his hands quickly. But I guess the Jets have the potential to only rush 4. Probably will since their secondary is pourous. D-Will, Bell, JJ, DJ. They can pick up blocks. I'm not tok worried.

Oh yeah and our very effective counter runs are usually to the left. There are a lot of ways to help Hubbard if it comes to that.

More issues... if only Jerald Hawkins did not have a torn labrum.....

At least he is a better upgrade than Hubbard. Then again... this entire offensive line may be in trouble given the fact that this Jets defensive line is ominously parallel to the Eagles. Granted... the rest of that defense is okay... but if the entire offensive line (not just Hubbard) do not show up come Sunday..... Big Ben is in deep trouble.

Plus, I'm sure Steve McClendon will be motivated to do well whoever he lines up over.

Honestly I think if Harris or Foster can play you put one of them at RT

Run the no-huddle, and give Hubbard TE help on his side.

David Johnson is your best bet currently. Jesse has progressed... but he is not there yet.

    Why?

They should wait until the last minute, because if Harris can't go they will have to cut/IR someone from the 53.

Could put in another C and move Pouncey and DD over one slot.

Several reports say Pouncey is taking reps at RT. But it'd be as an emergency situation.

We better have a game plan on offense where the ball comes out quickly.

a move to the PS would have at least got someone learning. we are down to 5 linemen if harris can't go. feiler would make 6 if he were brought up. thats pretty thin to go into a game with.

My thoughts exactly. Might force them to make a decision with either Dupree or Golson. Not something I want to see at this point.
