I'd take Keisel if he is in semi good shape with three weeks to work into NFL shape. Maybe Woodley too

I'd say Woodley is bigger than Casey at this point. LOL!

It's one game on the road against an NFC team. Not that any loss is a good one, but this one won't hurt us as much as a home divisional game would have.

Now let's hope the team gets their head out of their @ss and focuses this week on getting back on track. We have a really talented group, but weeks like this are inexcusable.

Man honestly I hate losing so bad that if we played ten years of undefeated ball and just straight up murdered everybody and then one day lost a game all that previous stuff would go out the window and I would just be infuriated that we lost one game. That's a terrible quality that I have and I honestly wish I could be as optimistic as you. It really bothers me when we lose and that's kinda ridiculous. When I got to church tonight somebody said "Are you in a bad mood" and I said "Yes. Extremely. Tomlin should be charged with a crime against humanity for fielding that defense" and they just laughed and said "Ah it's only a game..." but man it gets under my skin to lose. LOL!

Man it's tough. I've been thinking about that a lot. I'd say I would agree with a gun to my head but man I'd kill to see them win a World Series just once in my life. If our Steeler d keeps playing like it is though it might be 108 years before the Steelers win another one too. LOL!

While I totally agree with that, for me this one hurts so much more than it normally would just because of how bad of a beating it was, moreso than how it affects the divisional standings.

some times a beat down can help bring a team together and stop the players listening to the media giving them undeserved praise. Much rather it happen now and not real late in the season. Upcoming KC game will be a good measuring stick for where this team is headed in the face of adversity.

Maybe this was a wake up call the Steelers needed. Maybe they got a little too high on themselves, thinking they were just going to steamroll every team for 30 points a game. The NFL won't hand you a thing, going to have to earn it.

That being said, if we get our heads beat in i'd rather it be against a NFC team. Had this been a divisional game, then I'd be sick.

Oh, I completely agree, but it still hurts to see them get beat that bad regardless of how they respond. It's my hope that they'll realize that they need to not take things for granted. If I remember correctly, that's exactly what happened in 2004. The Steelers had a pretty bad loss to the Rats in week 2, and they took it as a wake up call and went undefeated the rest of the regular season. I'd love to see that happen again (except with a better outcome in the post season without losing to a cheating Patriots team like they did in 2004).

Good news is that we got our first loss out of the way, and it wasn't to a team with a losing record.

Everyone is piling on the defense, which did suck but I've seen very little finger pointing at the offense. Totally unacceptable performance by them as well.

Everyone knows the defense is the weak side of the ball, its the offense that is supposed to carry this team. I think the anger is misplaced in this game. I know there is no Bell and Bryant but they put up 30+ in the first game and a decent amount against a supposedly good Cincy D, they have plenty of other weapons. Maybe we win a shoot out yesterday if they bothered to show up.

All true. Here's the difference: we know the O will be good most weeks but many of us fear the D will stink all year. Honestly, I'm worried about the O. Bryant was a HUGE loss and Green isn't playing either. I have hope for Coates and James but they are still wet behind the ears. Still though, the secondary is relying on two rookies and our LBs stink. Shazier and Dupree need to be healthy for us to have a chance.

^^^^ This. I agree 100%. The offense needed to step up yesterday and deliver a shoot-out with the Eagles. The Steelers offense was no better yesterday than the Rams offense vs. 49ers on MNF a few weeks back. The Browns offense would have scored more points vs. Eagles yesterday and that is sad.

I'm going to be the steelers offense. run, run, 3rd and 13 force it to double covered brown 4th down. Or, everything is working smoothly then red zone, run, run, force it to brown field goal lol.

Give credit to the eagles defense for taking the receivers out of the game, and even when they did get open they dropped passes, wheaton with 3 drops is unacceptable, teams know if they want to stop ben they have to take his receivers away and they did a fine job of doing that yesterday: It finally happened, Butlers defense blew up in his face, if he sticks with it the chiefs will score big sunday, on a positive note ben will have bell back and maybe they will be better prepared than they certainly wasn't this week, you can't play flat against the good teams, and the chiefs is a good team....

Its not just the loss. I have never...even in the 80's...seen the steelers get their butts kick in every aspect. New head coach, rookie qb, and inferior team...dominate the steelers like that. Not only the score but battered and bruised...and legally...no cheap shots. Men played boys last night
