Like what he's saying about systems and using the talent in the best way possible. Yes, it's a soundbite, but his record does back it up.

I liked the statement "if you are sensitive, this is not the place to be."

Well, early days, but I liked what I heard. Guess I'll wait for the first few days of training camp to make the next assessment.

Good introduction. I came away impressed and wasn't ready for it to end. Wonder why they cut it off when there appeared to be more questions out there?

I was impressed. They asked him at the end "sideline or up in the booth?" He said that would be something they figure out as he learns the ins and out of being with the team.

This wasn't something I'd even thought about. I guess he's used to being on the sideline, but would they possibly want him in the booth to avoid a rift? Personally I think if you're working to address stuff with your team throughout a game, it'd be hard to do from the booth.

Nice tie in to Ron Erhardt (the one externally hired OC that won playoff games) that Gerry Dulac refused to acknowledge. Thought he spoke well and hopeful for positive things to come. Primary goal for him... to score points... YES YES YES

Negative: Would it really be too much to ask that you comb your hair? :roflmao:

    Presser over.

I liked some of his answers and his demeanor. He seemed straight forward and sincere. A few things that stuck out were:
-Heath Miller was one of his favorite players to watch and prepare for
-When asked about putting an emphasis on the run game, he said the emphasis 'was on WINNING'
-Said there's a lot of terminology carry over which helps
-They'll start from a clean slate and figure out what gives best possiblity to succeed and score a lot of points
-Couldn't say whether or not he'd be in the booth or on the sidelines.

Big Ben really should get on the horn with Warner. Living in AZ, Warner has been on the radio a few times now and has been asked what he thought of Haley and his "tactics" and he said that once you get past the yelling he does and actually listen to his message, you realize he is trying to help you and not acusing you of being a failure. Most of these dudes have huge egos, especially elite QB's as both Ben is and Warner was, so hearing it from an equal might help the situation get started. Definitely will be rocky at times but I personally am excited to see how it shakes out.

I really, really liked that Haley alluded specifically to Heath Miller. Miller has not been used to his full potential for years now. Maybe now is his time. Same with Mendy hopefully!! Go STEELERS!

I stoked, when I saw the interview on the sun. night Chiefs game, he was gushing about his love for the Steelers. That's what we want, it's passion, not just a paycheck. This is gonna be great. He's one of those guys that looks better with a hat.

I loved when they asked him about being a hothead he smiled, and then he said "i watched those Harbaughs" like he really hates them too.
    Welcome home Todd!
