Seahawks #2? Bradyless Pats #1? What is this measured by?

 

Wow...the crazy thing is I understand their logic

To quote Mike Tomlin: " I have a hard time caring less."

 

This things make little sense until after mid season.

 

I actually care less about NFL Power Rankings than I do preseason games.

 

They take away our Lombardis.

 

This has as much meaning to it as the "Cowpokes" being tagged America's team... but year after year they tank it. America is not a bunch of losers!!!

 

Actually the pats didnt put a sound whoopen on the cards, they had to pray for a kicker to miss a field goal to get a win, actually a lot of teams played with injured and suspended players missing from their roster, we did as well, and because the cards were picked as a preseason favorite didn't make them one, the pats are not deserving of a number 1 power ranking based on this one game, there are other teams that would have beat them on opening day and I would consider us one of those teams....

 

First, I never pay any attention to Power Rankings....it just drives me nuts.

Second, I don't think anything can be determined after 1 week.

Third, the only team I can really comment on is ours. Honestly, I don't think we played particularly well. We missed a bunch of tackles, we didn't get any pressure on the QB, we played without a bunch of people (as did others), but we still won by 22. Granted the Redskins made mistakes a team like NE won't make, but we made mistakes that won't continue long term.
