Game-winning 4th-quarter TD passes in the post-season (among QBs who have 2+ SB wins):

    1. Bradshaw 5
    2. Montana 4
    3. Staubach 2
    4. Aikman, Elway, Manning, Roethlisberger, Starr 1
    9. Griese, Plunkett, Brady 0

I don't think Bradshaw gets the credit he deserves for being a true genius, magician, master, (whatever you want to call him) with the offense.

It's easy to forget that Bradshaw called his own plays - ALL of his own plays. He knew and ran the offense like no one else I've ever seen. He may have acted like a dumb hillbilly - and sometimes he still does, but his knowledge of his own offense and the opponents defense was 2nd to none.

Also the strongest arm quarterback I have ever seen. When he would pass, he just flipped his wrist and the ball could sail 50+ yards, tight spirral, and about 15 feet off the ground. Great deep ball passer and accurate. Big difference when you see quarterbacks that have to throw that high on deep balls and then they can't be as accurate. I agree with mdbates2, Bradshaw doesn't get the credit he deserves for being a leader with a big arm.

That is most often forgotten about him. Imagine him with a Mike Wallace. Ben has a good arm but not like Terry.

:applaud: If Bradshaw was playing with Mike Wallace, you could of doubled Wallace's touchdowns. I don't believe he could have underthrown Wallace even with his speed. That would of been something to see. :applaud:

IMHO, the greatest pass ever thrown. He was under a blitz and was a split second away from getting whacked--he indeed left the game with a concussion. To keep your concentration and make that throw as perfect as it was, under that kind of duress: unbelievable.

Yes. He would just flip his wrist and the ball would zing 50+yds.The man had a cannon for a arm and was deadly with the deep ball.

I miss Terry Bradshaw.Just imagine Bradshaw to Wallace on a 70 yd. bomb?He would hit Wallace in stride. Not like Ben who underthrows deep balls.I like Ben,But he's no Terry Bradshaw.

Thats why Ben has to step it up in the SB, he can break all the regular season records he wants but he needs to be more clutch in the SB to ever be considered better then TB. I have Ben as 1 poor SB, 1 mediocre and 1 good with a drive for the ages sprinkled in. He needs more games like the AZ one.
