Let's go Steelers

Hey all missed the heck out of you guys, been awhile since I was here.....just after the draft. Been a busy spring/summer, heck still busy right now. Hope everyone had a great summer mine was full of ups and downs but for the most part more ups.

So onto our Steelers I have missed the talk so if I say something someone else posted I am sorry. The #1 thing that has me worried is a ton of people(experts) have us in the Super Bowl. Every time that happens it is never a good season. I have not seen Big Ben look this good in a long time I am hoping he is ready for a monster season. I am worried about the LT spot AV hasn't looked the greatest but hope he gets it or Harris steps in.

On Defense love that Matacavich made the roster I think he is gonna be a stud......I think a few will remember my "man crush" with him during the draft. I think losing Bud is gonna hurt more then we think and the OLB position has me worried. As for the secondary it is a wait and see games as to if it is gonna be any better but he have added a few new faces so it has to be better right????

Well Steeler family sorry to throw a ton of stuff out there but like I said I have been gone way to long and have a ton of catching up with you all to do....... Looking for a great season, not ready for summer to come to an end but having the Steelers back helps that.

 

What's up NY?! Good to see you back dude. I know what you mean about hating to have people pick us. I feel DOUBLE superstitious right now because people are also picking my Cubbies. I feel like I need to be double pessimistic just to balance out all the optimism. LOL!

 

TTF, been a busy spring and an even crazier summer, heck it is still busy now lol. Once High School baseball starts it is games just about every night. That leads into summer ball and I camp every weekend and have no internet and crappy cell service....but I do have beer. I did think of this board and all you guys and missed it a ton but just have to much going on in the spring and summer. But hey I am here and ready to talk our Steelers........

 

Welcome back, NY! I took a little hiatus myself after the draft, but this board is as good as ever!

Lol, thanks Blast I know I am a slacker........I do a ton of camping and not very good service on the phone and no internet which makes it hard and very frustration. I do miss this place and all the good talk.

 

I had to camp for 30 years. I don't do that no more. But, I do like my Steelers

 

Well what I do you can't really call camping, I have a 5th wheel and a seasonal site at a local campground. I have dtv and 2 golf carts(we have a small par 3 course there) so it's not like I am roughing it. Only thing that would make it better is internet and you guys......lol!

 

GAMEDAY!!! ACTUAL GAMEDAY!!! ACTUAL F**KING FOOTBALL FOR THE STEELERS!!!

Miller jersey out of the wardrobe, off to Tesco to get the supplies for the game. DAMN I MISS THIS FEELING!!!

 

I have to actually work DURING the game. Jeez, I'm feeling sick right about now.

 

I will be in a board meeting which will start just about the same time as kick off. Shortly before that, I will be conversing with the Grand Puba for a feed. Still not sure how I'm going to watch the game on my laptop while simultaneously trying to listen to others at the meeting.

Ah you know as a baseball fan when it's all said and done you'll be pulling for them to win it all. That would be a great thing to witness in sports. SURELY to at LEAST put the Cards out if it comes to that. I don't see how anybody can hate the Cubs. We're the most lovable team in baseball. I would root for the Buccos against the Cards any day. I know there's a little bad blood right now but I would just want my buddies around here to be happy at least. I pulled for the Pens just because I wanted to see people here get that trophy they wanted.

 

No it would be cool to see the Cubs win I'm just bitter right now.

 

I think when we beat you guys in that 13 inning game it just totally demoralized that team. I'm not at all fully confident that the Cubs get it done. As a Cubs fan, I don't think it would be logical to believe they are gonna win it all.

 

Yeah they never recovered from that. They are pretty set up for next year though.

 

Cole needs to get healthy though.

 

Hey bud thanks for the welcome back. Your Cubbies are havin a hell of a season man. As a Met fan I am worried.....at least we have the Steelers lol!

 

Yeah and as a Cubs fan I also have to say "At least I have the Steelers". LOL!
