NFL Fullback:reports of my death greatly exaggerated.

Fullbacks Rule!!!!! How great was it seeing great fullback play from both teams last night?. I hope Haley works plenty of Nix in this year. I lower watching power runs behind a solid lead blocking FB and every once and a while one gets the rock like last night and I'm totally like.

 

I agree it is a thing of beauty. Nix was on the did not participate list last time I looked. Depth chart wasn't showing a back up. Wonder who they'd use if Nix doesn't go?

 

Grimble would be the 2nd TE and Johnson will be the FB

 

i hope nix gets healthy soon. eassssyyyy there big snack.

 

Loved Janovich at Nebraska last year and mentioned him a couple times in the B1G thread. Really wanted him for the Steelers, but glad to see he made some splashes Thursday night.

 

I'd like to think we use Nix more this season, now we've seen how versatile he can be.

Then again, I used to say the same about Will Johnson every season he was here...

 

I dub 2016 the year of the Fullback. The power I will make a resurgence and ground and pound will be the flavor of the month

 

My favorite all time Steeler is the Greatest FB to ever play.... Rocky!!!!!

We carried 2 FB on the 53 last year which is a rarity of biblical proportions in the NFL.

I've said it a million times and I'll say it again.... " The FB is ALWAYS open out in the flat"!!!!!

Hopefully Nix heals soon and gets back out there!!! We need you Nix!!!

yea i agree nix was doing quite well early in camp as a receiver.

 

Good hands is a must for a FB in my world. That's one reason I liked Wil Johnson so much , he caught everything .
