I just saw on twitter he left practice with a knee injury, they don't know how serious it is yet. We're cursed Heyward, Dupree, Golson ugh.

Hopefully it's nothing major. McCullers didn't think so when asked earlier FWIW.

“I heard it was a little tweak or something like that,” McCullers said. “Hopefully he will be back because we are going to need him.”

The injuries on this team the past five years has gotten to the point where it's comical. We could put "Questionable" next to every defensive player before every game and it wouldn't be a joke.

Yeah big Dan said he thought it was a tweak... Kaboly said it didn't look good. Guess we'll find out round Thursday. If no go, big Dan better better rosin up his bow and play some nasty fiddle on that line.

Waiting on Darcravs insightful spin hahahhaha

Maybe losing the staring job will light a fire under Dan's rear, and get him to start playing with some attitude

I don't think Dans lack of progress is from a lack of fire in his belly, I think its a lack of talent. And for these big men, technique is so much more important to master and also more difficult because of their size.

Here's hoping Hargrave isn't injured too badly.

Bingo. Space eating nose tackles have to be more than their intended niche. McCullers was drafted as such and had zero pass rushing upside. He can push the pocket... but that is all he provides.

If this were the late 00s/early 10s.. I think McCullers would be the heir to Big Snack as those days required a space eater. However... in today's NFL.. that is no longer the case.

Well seeing how he is the only other NT on the roster, he has a point haha but I see what you're saying. The wording seems funny on it lol

Since this seems to happen every pre-season, you'd think I'd be immune to this news but each time I'm like...

I think for every preseason of Steeler football at least 6 months is taken off my life expectancy in stress and treatment of that stress with alcohol.

This is a big blow if he is hurt seriously, Big Dan can't handle the position by himself. Can someone
please motivate Big Dan? Please, before it is too late.

Hargrave was the to be the 1st rookie DL to start since Buckner. He won the start early on and with Heyward and Tuitt this will be a very solid line bringing the heat. This is not good news. McCullers cannot handle the base D full time. I see him as a situational player, not the prototype NT. Part of that is his size. And his desire. Hope this injury is not several games. Tomlin will update today.
