If the Pats had won, under any circumstances, I would not live a happy day until next year's Super Bowl. It took me a very short time to get over the Steelers' loss last year. But I would NOT get over a Patriots win. I don't need to hear about Tom Brady being the best quarterback of all time, not that that would make sense anyway (a deflection on a Hail Mary determines such things? Yep, that's how it works).

I don't care if it's May 23rd and I'm talking about our upcoming training camp, I would be thinking about the ****ing Patriots in the back of my mind, or maybe the front. "The cornerbacks have the most interesting battle this year (****ing Patriots), and I really think Keenan Lewis might be the one to come out on top (****ing Patriots). I think the surprise position to keep an eye on (****ing Patriots) is outside linebacker, because (****ing Patriots) Jason Worilds has shown too much (****ing Patriots) to spend all of his time (****ing Patriots ****ing Patriots ****ING PATRIOTS I SWEAR TO GOD) on the bench...............(****ing Patriots)

I'm not sure what it says about me that I'd almost rather the Patriots/Ravens lose than the Steelers win, but I don't really care either. As it is, life can go on.

I'm skipping around today just thinking about the pats losing and us being (hopefully) only a few days away from naming a new OC! Here's me skipping around:
:swordsman: Sorry, this actually is "riding" around cuz there are no "skipping" smilies.

    Now bring on the Combine!

Be careful, there are some on this board that take issue with "Patriot Hate" or any delight with the patriots losing.

Since the Steelers didn't make it to the Bowl...last night was the perfect scenario for me, personally. I didn't want the Ravens or Green Bay in the Super Bowl...check. I didn't want the Patriots to win the Super Bowl...check. Thank you Giants for capping what could have been a very sad, sad year!

And there are some that just don't see the sense in it.

Everything turned out O.K. considering our Steelers were not playing in the SB.

As though I didn't need further incentive to dislike the Patriots, I saw today that Rush Limbaugh was a guest in Kraft's box. Further proof that "class" and "Robert Kraft" aren't as synomymous as people would think. :o

Hmmmmm, that's weird on two counts. First, I didn't notice Rush in Kraft's box the few times the network showed his entourage and second, Rush is a big Steeler's fan.

Here are my two thoughts on this.
    1) The Steelers weren't playing
    2) He might have made a switch once the Rooney's become supporters of then candidate and now President Obama. Then the President hired Dan for the ambassador position.

That might have ruffled his feathers too much for him to remain a fan. I don't think his roots are in Pitt, he was just a radio host/DJ during the 70's dynasty. Maybe he made a switch or is just a front runner....

Here's a link to the nose-picking story about Rush:

I didn't know Kraft attended Limbaugh's wedding, too. Sheesh. They're besties. And what makes this even more peculiar is that Kraft is Jewish: most of us Jews lean left.

I agree. Also the look on Suggs face along with the other rat players after the loss helped. :hehehe:
