The Browns cut Pryor today after making the roster. He has gone on record as saying he wants to convert to WR and is committed to making it happen. He is a PA native and also gone on record that he wants to play for the Steelers. I really hope the front office considers him as an addition to the team. I would be willing to say goodbye to Archer as I think Pryor has a lot more upside and can be used in multiple roles for the team.

Flame away on my sign him post.....

No flaming, but he has been an NFL bust left and right. He doesn't have it.

They def should...Pryor is going to be a good WR....he was in Browns camp..and early on...they could not believe how good he was making the switch to WR....then he got hurt. I would take Pryor over Murphy all day long.

 The Browns have no WRs and they still cut him , not interested at all.

I'd take a chance on him if he could return kicks. Archer is terrible.

If we could afford to sign someone simply to return kicks and punts, then I would take a chance on pryor..... we all saw first hand how fast and elusive he is when he played for the raiders....... problem is we can't sign a exclusive return man

Anyone who could possibly play Safety or CB I would be up for signing .. Maybe he can play that position as well, but you guys know that the NFL is way to complicated for players to switch positions, I don't think it has ever worked..:thumbs up:

Just to clarify, since some of this post is old, Pryor is currently on the Browns roster. He had a big play last night. I think that may be where Hack was coming from.

Yeah, even tho this is an old post,

I think Pryor could be a legitamite threat to our secondary, this year...

Hell, He ran thru our entire defense, from his own goalline, when he was QB in Oakland, and we should have seen it coming...

With our secondary, and him improving over half a season of playing time, before we face them in Cleve, we better hope we can put whoever their QB is by then, on the ground, before he throws it to Pryor, or Gordon...
    Yikes...

I got faith we will still be the better team, but I can`t deny he is a threat.

Sorry to dig up the old post.... I just don't like posting a "I said this before" post ....I would rather show the proof. When Cleveland cut Pryor...I was a big proponent of bringing him in as a WR. That was last year. He just started to learn the position. The arguments I received were...He sucks as a QB and if he is not good enough for the Browns then we don't need him. He is going to be a solid WR this year.

More than solid. He is a tremendous athlete. Who on the Steelers is going to cover him? If he is given a big cushion, he will catch the ball in the flat, or on a slant, and run a long way.

I am a huge fan of Pryor. He made some mistakes at OSU, but as a buckeye fan I always respected his talent. He should've tried to be a WR the whole time and never messed around at QB. He could be a pretty good one.

Glenn you remember the QB from the Raiders that ran past Timmons for like 74 yard TD run that had everyone calling for TImmons to be fired. That guy lol
