Steelers vs Lions Preseason Game 1 Thread

You will find that there are a few around here that actually always believe the sky is falling.

 

Another season with no pass defense. Run defense looks very good, but no team will run against us.

We will need to score early and often.

 

I will give u 3 out of 4 ,but we have a lot of fire power on Offense and the Vaughn kid climbs the pocket well and he seems to have a strong arm , so maybe we have really found a bu QB ?

 

Please just end this misery. I'm begging.

 

I'm not holding my breath on that. I think we need to sign an established backup that has actual game experience with some pretty good upside that could at least keep us competitive if called upon.

 

would've liked to seen Golson and what he could do tonite....oh well

 

Maybe one of these years we will get to. Sigh....

 

Ah well, it's preseason.

The 1995 Steelers lost the last 3 preseason games 36-13, 20-7 and 16-6. I am reaching here.

From our Offense yes it is we had like 20 scripted plays ,I think we ran the same play like 5 times ....On D though Butler was aggressive he called a lot of Blitzes ,I think we blitzed like 70% of the time the 30% we didn't we got beat 100% of the time.,...

Very funny. However what is not funny is maybe Coates IS a fumbler. All in all, that game stunk.

 

Who cares about a loss in the preseason? As long as none of the players get injured I'm ok.

Well My take from the game;
Put an armed guard on Ben, anyone gets close. Shoot em
Put GRADBrokebodypartsincludingjohnsonKOWSKI on a bus to CHITLINSWITCH MISSISSIPPI, tell the driver if he lets him off or turns around he could be shot
put LOLandry on the same buss
Shoot Vaughn in the knee cap
Sign an undrafted FA QB named We Willie Wimp the Tennis Shoe Pimp to a 1 year deal, whoever he is we have a better chance to win with him than the other 3
