ESPN channel number for training camp coverage

Have Dish Network and 4 ESPN channels. Have searched them all for Aug. 5th Sports Center to get the Friday's training camp program. Does anyone know the exact ESPN channel number for this to be on. v8jim

 

Not sure about ESPN's coverage but check out the NFL channel (#212 on Direct TV)- they'll be running "Inside Training Camp Live: On the Field" starting at 7am PDT Friday - but it looks like they run this every day so not sure what's unique about Friday. NFL network isn't on Dish, they say contract has expired..... Me? I'm about to make a change as that's my favorite channel .

I'm thinking it will be on 140. What the online ESPN schedule shows is somewhat different than what is showing up on the Dish guide. I'm thinking the dish guide just isn't correct. It is an ESPN show, not an nfl network show, I believe.

 

I used to have dish, ESPN is channel 140 so sportscenter will most likely be on there.

 

I cancelled my dish service last week because they didn't have NFL Network, I now have Comcast. I wasn't about to miss all the training camp coverage and preseason games, waiting for dish to settle their contract screw them.

 

I'm going back to direct tv on Tuesday , I figure a free year of Sunday ticket is worth it..... It's the current promotion going on now....

Yes, I'll be watching 140 on dish to see if the guide changes the lineup. I even called Dish yesterday but they said so far no program change has been made on the SportCenter for Friday but will wait to see if that's true or not. Seems dish wants us to sign up for their sports program channels and pay, pay and pay, v8jim

 

Hold it! Help may have arrived. Just saw on net that Dish reached a deal last night at 7:12 p.m. to pay the NFL for our viewing. Agreement was kept silent. Just checked and 140 is up and running here in Johnstown PA. Phew! May the Steelers have the best year ever. Nice communicating with you, v8jjim

 

Yes, the training camp is a ESPN special not NFL but so far on Sport Center on Friday they have Grudens QB training camp. Still a question mark, but at least we now have NFL v8jim

 

Looks like we will have football in Johnstown PA now. Preseason will be on Altoona Dish local channel 10. Also the Christmas game on NFL is on now thanks to new negotiations. Maybe I'll be able to see the training camp Aug. 5th on a video afterwards. Least of my worries so it's a good day.
