OMG....Hell NO!!! It's "possibly" 4 games w/o Bell. We play the Redskins, Bengals, Eagles and the Chiefs. 2 at home and 2 on the road. Two toughest games (Bengals/Chiefs) at home. They can find some guy off the street or on the practice squad for depth. One could argue that the Patriots first 4 games w/o Brady is a tougher task than our first 4 games w/o Bell even the Patriots have three games at home....

It does seem odd that Vick could go to prison and when he was released Tony Dungy waged a campaign claiming that Vick deserved a second chance: Rice did no jail time and the NFL has basically banned him from ever playing again. After being out of football for 2 years Rice is now begging for any team to give him a chance to play again, even claiming he will play for free by giving his 885K Vet minimum to domestic abuse charities, at age 29 he knows the window is closing on his career and he is sort of sad that in all of his millions of apologies and speaking engagements and abuse therapy he is untouchable with a silent code in place that he must not get a second chance. I don't condone his spousal abuse actions but I do think a double standard has been enforced in his case. He may not even be able to make a roster in training camp, but if a second chance policy was in place for Vick why not for Rice???

Because Ray was already looking like a beat up product, most would look at him as not having a lot left to offer...Then when you look at the value of the RB position as a whole that also hurts him ...I do see your point and think he does deserve another chance I just think it has more to do with the position than anything else...
