Big Ben misses day 3 OTA

Kinda surprised this hasn't been posted yet. AB's first day at the first session of OTAs was the day Ben missed but for a legit reason as Brown tweeted Thursday night after the Penguins won game 7 and advanced to the SCF. The Roethlisberger's welcomed a new member to Steeler Nation. Congrats Ben, Ashley and family.


Sidenote: The Joneses are keeping up with the Roethlisberger's as Landry and his wife welcomed their baby earlier in the week.

 

That's cool that they all sported Pens gear - come on Mom - get with the program! Congrats BB - so good to read these kind of family oriented stories about you. Let's hope this bunch are all sporting Steeler SB Trophy #7 shirts a year from now! ( as well as Pens Stanley Cup #5 hats..........and maybe even Pirate WS champ socks????)

 

So awesome, love to see the Roethlisgergers in Pens gear!!! Congrats on their 3rd. 2 more and they can field a line.

 

Congrats Ben and Ashley. I'm sure you will both be wonderful Coaches, er, I mean Parents.

 

Ben has to win another superbowl now, so all 3 kids get a ring...

 

Here's to hoping Ben and Ashley have a dozen kids if that's the case!

Gotta say I'm proud of Ben for how much he's matured during his time in the Burgh. From an arrogant, entitled jerk (by many accounts) chasing young girls around bars to a true family man (in every sense of the word).

He has embraced the city, is THE leader of this football team, and will go down as one of the greatest to ever wear the black and gold. I proudly wear his #7 at the games.

You can add #7 to the list of 'unofficially retired' numbers in team history.
